• Ta Dumbong Kro Aung Statue - The afternoon excursion begins at 12:30 p.m. The operator will pick guests up from their hotel or restaurant. The tour starts with a briefing, followed by a visit to Battambang’s French colonial architecture, including the iconic Ta Dambong Kra Aung statue, a symbol of the city. The journey then continues to the next destination, the original bamboo train.
• Suspension Bridge - Before boarding the bamboo train, the tour includes a visit to charming villages. Travelers will explore the countryside, visiting fruit farms and local pagodas along the riverbank. The friendly farmers and cheerful children will greet visitors warmly. The operator will pause in the village to explain the local lifestyle. The tour then proceeds to a suspension bridge near Kampong Pil Pagoda, offering stunning river views for photography. The journey continues to the Bamboo Train.
• Bamboo Train Ou Srauo Laou - Guests will experience the original bamboo train, a unique opportunity at Osrolao village, covering a distance of about 7 km. The government plans to close it soon, so this is a rare chance to enjoy scenic views of small villages and the countryside. Afterward, a late lunch is planned at a village restaurant.
• Phnom Sampeau - Known as Phnom Sampov, this mountain features the “killing cave” and “bat cave.” Visitors can view the cave from above, where victims were tragically executed during the Pol Pot regime. After exploring the cave, guests can climb the mountain to enjoy breathtaking views and visit a Buddhist pagoda.

Note: There are many monkeys in the area. It’s advisable to keep a safe distance as some may be aggressive. Visitors have several options to ascend the mountain, including walking, or taking a motorcycle or pick-up truck.

• Battambang Bat Caves - In this cave, visitors will observe numerous bats. The cave, resembling a long dragon, houses millions of bats. It takes 30 to 40 minutes for all of them to exit the cave.

This marks the final stop of the tour. After visiting the bat cave, the operator will drive guests back to their hotel.
