Morskie Oko, or ‘The Eye of the Sea,’ is a glacial lake situated right next to the mountains, providing an even more stunning vista. The water filled the void left by rocks and now hosts numerous animal species and serves as an exploration site for people, which also promotes their health. At Zakopane, take a cable car trip up Gubalowka Mountain and spend time on Krupowki Street, the town’s most frequented. Depending on traffic, the drive each way will take about 2 hours. The driver may be up to 15 minutes late, depending on the agreed meeting location and time. A 2-hour walk is required to reach Morskie Oko and another 2 hours to return. Please dress warmly and comfortably.
