5 star experience. - Excellent, well organised trip to Zacopane going via Chocolowskie where there are wooden houses plus visited a shepherd's hut where we tried smoked cheese & local vodka, very nice. We had 3 hours in Zacopane , travelled the 'cable car' to see gorgeous views of Tatra mountains & have lunch. Also shop at local markets. ✨️ Would definitely recommend & definitely book again with Poland is Beautiful ✨️

Had a great day trip with David - Not only did the trip deliver everything promised but we had lots of good conversations during the drive and David added a short side trip we requested as a bonus. It was a good day!

Adventures in Zakopane! - As a solo traveller, I was nervous about making the trip to Zakopane alone. Thankfully the trip was a lovely experience and I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time. Kris was so lovely and really knew his stuff about the history of the area. Out of the whole experience, visiting the top of the mountain was my favourite. I also loved seeing the old churches. Thank you so much Kris for a great time :)

Ski Jump visit - We pre-booked this tour before we left home, as it was one of the places we wanted to see in Poland. We were picked up on time at our hotel. After around an hour our courier Max, gave us a comfort stop at a small service station. From there we made our way to Chocholow to see the wooden houses built without nails. It was very interesting. Our next stop was at a highlander's house to taste local cheese and sample some Polish vodka. After that we made our way to the Ski Jump at Zakopane. Unfortunately when we arrived it was misty, but the mist cleared so we could see the top of the ski jump. From there we were taken to a Wooden Chapel surrounded by trees. We then went onto Zakopane and the Gubalowka funicular which was included in the tour. We had a walk round and then had a stop for some refreshments. We had waffles which were very good. Then we got the funicular back to the bottom and had a walk around the main street. There were so many souvenir and other shops to see it was difficult to know where to go. After all the rain, the sun finally came out and showed Zakopane in completely different light. The trip back to Krakow was uneventful but it was interesting to see the scenery, then got dropped off at our hotel. It was a very interesting trip. Thank you Max and your driver on 10th June.

Great views - Tour guide was very informative The trio was fantastic very busy but worth doing. The guide said it was the start of the season for skiing so that’s why it was extremely busy. You had to push to get on the mountain train as queuing was out the question, no system for people to get on, just a free for all. Views amazing especially with it snowing. Worth doing just for the views alone.

Poland is Beautiful tour company 5 stars - The drive up helped us see Poland outside a city. We both liked the stops along the way where David put guide told us more about the history of the region. Sat for quite awhile at the top of the funicular enjoying the 360 degree view. The tour company(Poland is Beautiful) was top notch and made good on all that was promised especially time of pick up, and hotel pick up, covering all the itinerary etc. our driver, David, was excellent. Don’t expect Zakopane to be a shopping Mecca - think hordes of same trinkets found throughout Krakow.
