Great service from Jack - Jack was ultra helpful and punctual. Made room in our schedule for lunch and even guided us to the best option near the location. Enroute, he pointed out several landmarks and explained some of the history. The salt mines were amazing and enhanced by Jacks tips on what to look out for. Thanks Jack, amazing.

The salt mines are well worth a visit! - We went on a trip to the Salt mines not knowing what to expect and had a great time. We were picked up at the meeting point on time by Jacob who was enthusiastic and smiling making us feel very welcome. He gave us great information on the drive there and clear instructions and timings. Once on the tour, we were shown around by a lady who had so much knowledge and added some humour at times that made the tour engaging. So much to see and alot of walking but it’s very different to anything else and we enjoyed the atmosphere and environment of the mines.

Overall very cool; 2 downsides. - I hate to give this 4 stars; but … Transportation was excellent. Driver was on time and instructions were good. Organization getting into mine was organized and executed flawlessly. The mine was amazing!! Now for the downsides. 1. The group was too big. You had to choose between taking pictures without 20 people in your way or racing after the guide to be able to hear the history. The radios didn’t have enough range; so we missed some of the stories. 2. There are a few places in the mine to get souvenirs. You have time at each; but who wants to carry something who knows how long. At the end there was an another shop; but there was no time to shop. We ended about 700 meters from where we started and had to choose to find a souvenir or loose our guide. Overall very good; but, the tour itself needs a little re-engineering.

Very tiring. But worth... - Very tiring. But worth the effort. Not for older people or those with limited mobility. History was fascinating and guide Margaret was excellent.
