Experience an incredible location - the first on the globe to be included in the UNESCO Heritage inventory. On this journey, you will delve 140 metres beneath the earth’s surface to investigate captivating salt-made chambers and passageways. Get informed about the origins of salt extraction and observe genuine mining machinery. Your guide, who is fluent in English, will lead you on a nearly three-kilometre-long tour that lasts 2.5 hours.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Each traveler is allowed a maximum size of any baggage allowed Wieliczka Salt Mine is 30x20x10 cm
- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
- Temperatures underground ranges between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius so please bring warm clothing.
- There are 800 steps to climb so please wear comfortable shoes.
- Taking photographs for private purposes only
- Roundtrip transportation is available from most centrally located Krakow hotels. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. You are required to wait at the reception 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
- Students must bring valid Student ID to receive a youth discount and keep it for the whole tour

Saltmines tour - So good getting lifted and dropped back. Igor was great giving us directions and sending us our tickets. No problems with entry or transport

Friendly service from Artem and an amazing tour! - Our family had an amazing time at the salt mine. The transport to and from the venue was well organised, with a quality service provided by our friendly driver Artem. The views at the salt mine were amazing and the tour provided on English was really informative and interesting for us all including the kids, so we are so pleased we went.

What to do on a rainy day - salt mine - A fantastic day out, made all the better due to our driver Karol. The mine was amazing, just when you thought it couldn't get bigger or deeper, it did.
Karol ensured we got there in plenty of time & arrangements to meet after the tour were very helpful.

On holidays to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary - Beautiful features, amazing.

Interesting trip with a professional driver and service. - Driver, Karoc, was very friendly and patient with lost turist. He spoke very good English and had a lot of knowledge about things. He drove carefully and giving water in such a hot day was nice suprise. He is a good guy.

Group booking for 6 .. excellent - I booked for a party of six .. the organisation was exceltional .. the driver was very polite and the packup better than expected ... our guide was lovely informative and very polite.. she allowed time for questions, and you could tell she was still very interested in the history and having spoken with her she studied Jewish history and the polish history .. there is nothing that could improve an already perfect tour.. many thanks from me and my five guests. we had the most amazing, emotional, exceptional day .. xx

Great Driver and Service - Karol was brilliant. We booked the trip through the hotel and Karol was our driver. He arrived on time. His vehicle was clean and tidy. He introduced himself and explained the day. He made sure we all understood where we were going and meeting up. He was friendly , well presented spoke great English.

Excellent! - The driver was so kind and really professional: he picked up at our hotel to go together to the Salt Mines of Wieliczka, where the tickets for the entrance were already ready in his hands; at the end, he took us back directly in front of our hotel.
The tour in the mine is wonderful with excellent guides.
Overall, a very nice experience and a very good service!
