The restaurant Skansen Smaków is situated in the picturesque surroundings of the forest, waters of Kryspinów lake and sandy beaches. This beautiful place is located just 10 km from the heart of the Krakow’s Old Town. Skansen Smaków is made of round wooden logs by centuries-old traditional method and gives the feeling of being in a magical place with character. Our stylish wooden interior mapping centuries-old highland architecture can accommodate up to 350 guests. Green area in the garden restaurant invites to spend time in the nature. Especially for guests who want to learn about our culture, sit down at familiar table with traditional dishes and listen to the lively music we have prepared folklore evenings.
During the event we will show a dynamic and lively Polish folk music. We will present folk dances: cracovienne, polonaise, oberek and mazurka with commentary on their origin. Of dances and chants from different regions of Poland there will be no end. Traditional costumes will adorn beautiful dancers and musicians. During the evening you will be invited to play too - through singing, dancing to the rhythm of lively polkas and pleasant waltzes and a popular play with “embroidered handkerchief”.
