What a wonderful experience! Loved it! - We had a wonderful time with Paula! (hope spelling is correct). She took us from our hotel to the farmers market to purchase cooking supplies and some snacks. She has a relationship with the vendors and they clearly enjoy time with her as we did. She gave us a lot of information on the various cheeses, meats, baked goods etc. What regions the products come from and what makes them special or different. A great overview of the market. Some items were for snacking while she was doing prep in her kitchen. Fresh made cheese, smoked mountain cheese, pickles, smoked sausage etc. Then Paula showed us her method for making perogies. From the type of flour, ingredients and mixing technique. Her dough is more delicate and soft than what I am used to and her perogies are smaller. Whatever the reason, they were marvelous! We highly recommend this tour!

Pierogis, Poland and Friends - We had a wonderful experience shopping in the local market for ingredients, learning how to order in Polish, preparing the Pierogis and enjoying what we prepared with our host, Magada. Magada was delightful, engaging and someone who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. We could not recommend this more highly-a definite 5 star experience.

Outstanding & much more than a cooking class - Outstanding experience that was much more than a cooking class. Our instructor was an excellent teacher and fabulous hostess. My husband and I enjoyed learning so much about Polish food, drink, and culture in such a fun way.

Great meal we learned how to make. - Agata was our guide / chef and she was fantastic. She meet us in Krakow at the meeting spot exactly on time. She took us to an open air market (I think the oldest in Krakow and maybe all of Europe). She taught us a few polish phases and then we went shopping to the items for the cooking class. We got to try out our polish skills with the vendors. After shopping Agata drove us to her house for our cooking class. While the dough was setting she served us some traditional polish snacks. Once the dough was ready we learned how to make pirogies. And the best part we got to eat them. We highly recommend Agata.

Pierogis made with special memories - I had a wonderful pierogi-making experience in Krakow with Agata Mazur. I was in a small group of five that met up with Agata as she led us to a local food market to buy the food we would need to make pierogis. She explained the various ingredients that we would need as well as how the fresh food market operates. She even provided a brief script that with her help, we could order the ingredients in the Polish language. Then we went to her home, had some refreshments, and started making pierogis from scratch. It was a fun group project. We learned how to make the dough and roll it out, how to make the fillings to stuff the dough, and finally how to cook the pierogis. Along with some Polish appetizers (e.g., kielbasa, bread, sheep's cheese, pickles, sauerkraut) we finally got to eat and enjoy the pierogis. We had a nice, relaxed conversation about Polish cuisine and the importance sharing time together at a meal. What made this experience so meaningful was the hands on, personal-touch approach. Agata made it very special - she was so nice as she explained the preparation process and even added her own memories and stories about growing up and enjoying Polish food. So instead of just a restaurant experience to enjoy good food, we benefitted by getting to know a local resident, in her home, in her culture, who was willing to share to teach and help us appreciate what Poland has to offer.

Unforgettable Kasia’s Kitchen - Kasia was an exceptional host! We have experienced cooking classes in several countries and Kasia’s was the best by far! She’s charming and talented with her approach towards making it unforgettable! We loved the market trip and the lessons in the language. Kasia opened her home to us and explained every step of the cooking process. We had the pleasure of meeting her cat (another highlight) who was as much of a joy to hang out with as Kasia! This is a must-do experience in Krakow!

Amazing pierogi making experience! - This experience was the best I’ve ever had over my 30 years of traveling. Paula was an incredible host. We shopped for snacks and ingredients at a beautiful market, and then walked to her apartment nearby. Everything was beautifully and expertly done. So warm, welcoming and personal. Paula explained throughly about the process for making pierogis, and involved me in the process. The pierogis were absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to make them for my family. I would highly recommend this cooking class. Don’t miss it!

Pierogi making class= AMAZING - Agata was the most amazing tour guide/ pierogi chef! We picked out fresh ingredients at the farmers market (she knew which vendors had the best produce and desserts!) and we had a lovely session in her home cooking pierogi. She was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about all things Poland. We really enjoyed cooking and talking with her. Highlight of our trip!
