An authentic, terrific cooking class - I travel a lot for fun and I usually take a cooking class in the countries I visit. I particularly liked this class. It wasn’t in a professional kitchen- it is taught in the instructors home. First, we visited a food market and she helped us as we picked out the ingredients used for the cooking class. Next, she showed us how to use the tram, which we took to her neighborhood. She had us prepare the pierogies, which were delicious. It was very “hands on” and felt very authentic.
Dominika is friendly and warm and agreeable to answering questions about life in Poland.
It was highly enjoyable and I think I’ll even make the pierogies at home!
Highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience, ... - Wonderful experience, Agata was very sweet and helped put our food orders in the market in Polish language. Lots of smiles as we tried our best. We traveled to Agata's home and started by getting to know each other over some local beer and food we purchased at the market. Then our pierogi class began. We had step by step help as we made our pierogies and I am completely confident we will be able to do this on our own when we return home. Cannot thank Agata enough for a MOST WONDERFUL DAY!!!

Great pierogi class with top teacher! - My husband and I booked a pierogi class and it was a great experience! We met with our guide/ cook, Agata, near the fresh produce market and the start could not have been better because Agata took us to the market in order to buy some of the necessary produces for the pierogi cooking class! Agata supplied us with the basic words for some of the shopping and it was really nice to try an communicate in Polish with the vendors! After the shopping was done we got in an uber to get to Agata’s own home. We felt very welcomed and had a lovely time learning how to do potatoes and cheese pierogi from scratch and chating with Agata. Agata is really welcoming and had taken the trouble to have other Polish delicacies available for us to taste, so the morning just went very quickly and smoothly. Under Agata’s supervision we indeed produced some very delicious pierogi, that we ate, with some polish craft beer, in the very sunny open plan kitchen/living room.
In the end Agata called another uber that took us back to central Krakow. All the expenses had ( food and transportation) were all included in the ticket price. For sure not part of the ticket price, was Agata’s friendliness and welcoming personality. We highly recommend the experience!

Fun local experience! Must book! - This was such a fun local experience!!! We had such a great time getting to know our host Dominika and learning how to make pierogi.
We started the day off by visiting a local market to pick up fresh ingredients. Dominika taught us how to say the ingredients in Polish and allowed us to try ordering them at the stand. Once we picked everything up, we hopped on the tram to her apartment.
We were able to try a few local snacks before starting the cooking process. We learned to make the pasta and the inside filling of the pierogis. Once they were assembled and cooked, we sat down to enjoy the meal and conversation with the host. Before we left, Dominika gave us some local recommendations so that we could visit the area around her apartment.
This is a great small group experience and was such a cool opportunity to see more of the “local” experience. Not to mention that the pierogi was DELICIOUS! Our host was so friendly and welcoming and really enjoyed getting to visit the area around her apartment.
I would highly recommend booking this if you have the time in Krakow!

Brilliant authentic experience - My husband & I spent a wonderful morning with Kasia. Loved the start where we shopped for ingredients in a market, even having a try at asking for the items in Polish - with a lot of help! We then went to Kasia’s home where we were made to feel so welcome. Loved the whole process of making pierogi’s and then sitting down to eat them. We had a first course of local cheeses, then pierogi’s and finally a dessert of cake and dried fruit. We shared our memorable experience with another lady and her daughter. Would definitely recommend this experience.
