Brilliant - Absolutely loved this. So informative, really engaging guide and amazing to get to walk around these buildings pretty much as they were left. Definitely one of the best tours I've been on.

Don’t miss this - Fascinating place which was really brought to life by a very skilled guide who shared with us personal family experiences and gave us an insight into Communist Poland. Good use of media and so many photo opportunities

Absolutely fantastic - What a fantastic tour this was. Such a knowledgeable and friendly guide. This is one of the best things we have done whilst in Krakow. The tour was really extensive. The guide was obviously very passionate about this subject and it was very evident in the information he provided. Such a beautiful building. Just a shame more people do not visit. This is a must do whilst in Krakow

Amazing and unique experience. Definitely worth a visit - Fascinating. A great visit and a great guide. This is much more interesting than Wawel Castle (which is overcrowded and contains very little of any serious interest).

A mesmerising trip back to Communist/Soviet Poland - It is unique and remarkable to be able to see this former Administrative Building of the Nowa Huta Steel Factory, built in specific architectural style of the 1950s, and almost untouched as of today. The building has been 'abandoned' for over 10 years, and is starting to show it's age - but that makes it all the more interesting. Hopefully the State and the owners (an absentee global steel giant company - who's name I don't recall) will spend the money required to save this building and restore it to useful purpose (including visitor tours).
The guide was excellent - and had so much detailed knowledge. If there was one criticism it was that everything 'bad' associated with the building or the company was attributed to 'communism'. For example, the stylistic and quality differences between the Administrative building and the 'Workers' building. But without doing a comparison with similar plants in the 'West', this seems like a false comparison. In fact, in the 'capitalist' west the differences might be even starker!

Unique experience - not to be missed! - This was one of my favorite things I did while visiting Krakow. Our guide was so friendly and shared lots of interesting information. Because it is not a museum, it felt like you were getting a behind the scenes tour. I went with my husband and 17 year old son. Such a unique experience!
Google maps got us there easily. We started in the building to the right if you are facing the steelworks sign but went into both buildings. You might feel like you are in the wrong place, but we had communicated with the guard through Google Translate who told us we were in the right spot.
There were (physically small) bathrooms offered at the beginning and end of the tour which I am glad to know when I am going somewhere. We had delicious burgers at the Encek Food Truck Park (a couple of tram stops away) off of Plac Centralny afterwards.
Highly recommend this tour! It was just what I hoped it to be.

Nova Huta - excellent tour - Nova Huta was the highlight of my trip to Krakow. The guide (with his period Lada) was fascinating, majorly enthusiastic and considerate. My husband and I were the only people on the tour on a Saturday morning. If you like the 1950s/1960s communist aesthetic, and are not claustrophobic - you will love this tour. And Restaurant Stylowa - best beetroot soup ever.

Must see - In order to have a complete idea of Polish history, it's necessary to learn about the years of communism. For this purpose we chose this tour and it was excellent not only because of the buildings we visited but mainly because of our tour guide who gave us plenty of information about the history of Poland and answered all of our questions.
