Great trip - long day but worth it - It was a relatively long day visiting all three sites but it was well worth it. Daniel managed to get us there early to enable seeing all three sites. The unexpected gen was the trip to the store mine - I am glad that I opted for it.

Good shoes, grocery bag and backpack left in the bus. - Expect them to change the pick-up time and location if you booked a pick-up at your hotel. I booked 8.30am pickup at my hotel. It was 6:05 a.m. at a recovery point. Deta was only positive when I then understood that it is several hours bus ride. Better go early and sleep a while in the bus and come home and get the evening free. Bring water, and food that can stay in the bus. I had ordered lunch, and it was a bag of sandwiches, an apple, chocolate and a bottle of water. You can't carry a backpack into Auschwitz. But it is quite ok to fill a backpack with food, coffee and everything you might need and then leave it in the bus. You'll enjoy it. Put on really good shoes, you'll walk about 16,000 steps. But with the possibility of rest and recovery in transport. I felt very well taken care of and safe both before, during and after the adventure. Highly recommended!

Amazing and Humbling. - The organisation was excellent. Once at each site we were allowed breaks before entering and after. The Salt Mine is just an amazing piece of human endeavour as initially it was all dug out by hand. What can you say about Auschwitz and Birkenau 😞. It was a humbling and very sad story told by a brilliant guide. It’s tough to see some things and I had a couple of emotional moments where I had to gather myself. Do not take this as a negative though because I would recommend visiting. I only ask that the utmost respect is given at the camps. We must remember of course but in some cases I found it difficult to understand why you would want to photograph some of the exhibits. But we are all different. It’s a long day but at the end you’ll be glad you did it.

DO NOT MISS ! MIND BLOWING ! SAD HISTORY WELL PRESERVED !! ONE OF THE WORLD'S BEST MUSEUMS! - If you are in Krakow, your first priority has to be visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. These are the vast Concentration camps that you will be walking through and experiencing what happened in the camps. It is mind blowing, sad and a must visit. You will get to see how millions were living their daily life and what they went through and how the million lives ended tragically. An eye opener seen live though your eyes and felt by you heart. It is well preserved for 78 years now. Its not a hard long walk and you are so immersed in the guide's explanation that few hours go by fast. very well organised tour by the museum, lots of photos to take, the guide was very good and the tour company picked on time and the drivers were safe. Only issue is if you get the 19 seater bus, whether its full or not, and if you are big or tall in size, the seats and cramped and you cant sit comfortably , if its a 7 seater much better. DO NOT MISS THE AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU TOUR. MIND BLOWING !! The Salt Mine was impressive, 678 steps to walk down slowly to reach a depth of 13 metres, fascinating to see how a salt mine operated in the early days. You come back up with a lift and no need to climb up. A must visit.

Sombre experience at Aushwitz and a revelation at Salt Mine - We had booked the tour well in advance. We were picked up from the common pick up point near the railway station. The pick up was dot on time. We first went to Auschwitz. The tour took 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Birkenau camp was four minutes away and the tour took less than 45 minutes. We started the tour at Aushwitz at 0930 and finished with Birkenau also by 1150. We started for the Salt Mine and reached there at 1410. The next tour was at 1600. So, had to while away time at location and visited the Graduation Tower, which was good. The Salt mine tour took about two hours and was well worth it. Daniel was a good host and took care of the tour pretty well.

Very moving visits - An unforgettable and moving day with combined visit to Auschwitz, Birkenau and the salt mine. Some organizational problems with AT Cracow. The evening before, we learned that departure from the meeting place had been brought forward to 6 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. Finally the minibus, very small for 8 people, only came to pick us up at 06:45. The guided tour in English of Auschwitz and Birkenau was very moving, with a truly excellent guide. Good guided tour in English of the mine. No break to eat, given the delay at departure. The driver was friendly. Very informative e-book.
