Excellent day out in one of the famous Salt Mines - Due to seeing that this trip to the Salt Mines included a ride on a train plus a boat, it swayed my decision to pick this tour firstly when going through so many options. Without much prior knowledge before travelling, even though i had watched many videos and stuff online, that there are more than one Salt Mine tourist attractions. Saying that, an excellent tour with a helpful guide who did her best with very little knowledge of English, she really did try bless her. The whole experience was well worth my time, from start (the lift going down), the train ride and the short boat ride (still worth it to give you an idea of how it must have been) and everything else. Be prepared to walk a lot but the train ride does help those who may struggle a bit. Want to say a huge WELL DONE to our driver/tour guide to the mines Olaf, great person, very well mannered down to earth & had so much time to share info etc. Great day out had

Unique experience of visiting the salt mine, suitable for kids & teens to visit - The mini-bus was really comfortable & spacious. A unique experience for us due to 1st time taking underground train & boat. Also squeezed into a small elevator and went down 200 meter deep. It was educational & fun. I'm glad I choose this Salt mine to visit as I have a 16 yo old son. I feel this mine is more suitable for kids & teens as there are more variety for them to experience. Be prepared to walk, and must have good walking shoes. Marco the guide was nice & professional. He even went to extra mile of bringing us to a mini mart to buy some chocolates after we all alighted from the luxury mini-bus. Thumbs up for his service :)

Great experience - Marco, our guide, was fantastic. Explained everything and happily answered any and all questions. The mine train was fun and so happy to have lifts to take us down and back up!! Very much a mining history and the boat trip added a little extra. We had a great time

Really good trip, interesting! - What a great tour. Marco was brilliant at communicating before the trip which gave me reassurance as I was travelling on my own with 2 teenagers. Picked up on time, Marco super friendly and informative from the start. The salt mines were really interesting and enjoyable but a not of walking. Well worth a visit! Would book any trip with this company if all the guides are like Marco. Thank you 🥰

Great trip, lots of walking - We had a wonderful day at the salt mine. Marek was very good. Be warned, lots of walking and some tough uphill steps! But well worth the effort.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Absolutely worth it! - Everything was perfect from start to finish — the transportation, the organization, and especially our guide, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of the mine. The Bochnia Salt Mine is a truly unique place. It’s much less crowded than Wieliczka, and it feels more authentic — you can really imagine how miners used to work here centuries ago. The train ride underground, the enormous chambers, and the boat crossing through the salt tunnel were simply unforgettable. The air underground is cool and clean, and the atmosphere gives you this strange mix of peace and awe. You learn a lot about Polish history, but at the same time you enjoy an adventure through tunnels that are over 700 years old. I would 100% recommend visiting Bochnia instead of (or even before) Wieliczka. It’s a hidden gem, perfectly organized, and an experience that stays with you.
