Long day worth paying for the private travel - We chose to splash out and have private travel for this trip. Oskar picked us up at our apartment at the given time. It was a very comfortable car. Oskar was very helpful. He was happy to answer questions regarding the trip and also about anything else. He was very kind to supply snacks and water and comfort breaks were not a problem. Oskar left nothing to chance. He ushered us through the reception of the trip and was waiting for us as it ended. He made a difficult day as easy as possible.

well organised and exceptional experience - Oskar was fantatsic, well organised and communicating to make sure we had the best experience possible. He had a tough task of getting tickets at short notice and managed it. Then proceeded to make sure the whole day ran smoothly, addressing all out needs including low carb diet. Oskar was pivotal in making the weekend experience unique - highly recommend and will be using him again for the salt mines

Great day - Oskar was very very helpful, he went above and beyond necessary and made the day even better. We thoroughly enjoyed having a private transfer, he had a comfy and clean car for the journey. He also helped us with recommendations for the rest of our trip, would highly recommend his services to anyone interested in exploring Krakow and its sights and history!

Highly recommend Oskar for the Auschwitz and Birkenau tour! - Oskar was great during our trip to tour Auschwitz and Birkenau! He was very easy to talk to during the drive and was happy to answer any questions and provide information about the area. His car was clean and comfortable, and we arrived on time and easy to follow him to where we needed to be.

A must do tour - An experience everyone who visits Poland should undertake. It is heavy, it is sad, it is heartbreaking, but it is essential.

Oscar is the best! - Oscar picked us up right on time at our hotel and took us to Aushwitz in a very comfortable sedan. Though a very difficult day in itself, Oscar was the perfect driver. He made sure we got to the tour on time, gave us a wonderful sack lunch (the vegan sandwich was sooo good) which we ate while driving to Berkenau (a lovely option to the shuttle) and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

Safe drive & excellent tour! - Alexandra picked us up right on time in the hotel lobby. She had water for us, and as the drive began, she gave us with an overview of our tour. She also provided some other basic information along the way and was happy to answer our questions. When we arrived at Auschwitz, she got our tickets and escorted us through the checkpoints, then waited with us to make sure we got on the correct tour. She also explained where she would be waiting after the tour with lunch boxes for us. Lunch was delicious: cheese and vegetable baguette (she arranged for a vegetarian option for us both), fruit drink, banana, nuts and a chocolate bar. After lunch, we travelled on the shuttle with the same guide to Birkenau. Alexandra was waiting for us when we returned and got us safely back to our hotel. She is an excellent and very safe driver and we greatly appreciated the service and hospitality. Our guide, Lucas, at Auschwitz-Birkenau was excellent (group of approx. 20). The tour is relatively fast paced, there is a lot to see and absorb, with lots of walking (over 10,000 steps) and standing. Lucas was extremely knowledgeable and provided the somber history and facts with the due respect warranted. We would highly recommend this tour … the private transfers were wonderful especially at the end of a tiring day, and the escorted tour meant smaller group size and less waiting for the shuttle transfer between camps.

Our guide Oskar drove us... - Our guide Oskar drove us from Krakow to Auschwitz and then back to Krakow. Although he did not do the tour at Auschwitz/Birkenau ( this was done by a museum guide), Oskar was extremely friendly and engaged us with insightful and interesting conversation during the drives, sharing information about Poland and the areas we were driving through, as well as his experiences living there. He was very polite and knowledgeable; also extremely flexible during our time with him, even stopping a couple of times along the drive to point something out to us. Highly recommend!!
