Great organisation for a heavy heart day - Everything went well, from the timely communication about the pick up point, to the drive to site and back. We had a really nice driver who tried to lighten up the mood, but also prepared us for what's about to be experienced. It's a long day, so better bring snacks and plenty of water. You will only have one break of 10 minutes. We were also extremely lucky with the tour guide, and she shared many important experiences, books to go deeper, and personal anecdotes. Totally worth the visit if you are willing to open your mind and soul to the experience.

A great yet somber experience - Experience was great even though it’s a very sad and somber place to visit. Our driver Igor M was prompt in picking us up from the front of our hotel and the trip out to Aushwitz was quick and easy. The tour itself was informative and excellent

Need some work on organizational details! - The tour part was very good with relevant information and history. The organization part needed to be reviewed and revised so that participants knew the procedures once we arrived. Also -when we arrived at the designated meeting place our driver did not show we are part of his tour. We contacted the company via what’s app to tell them we were there and there was a bus going to Auschwitz there and loaded. After 10 minutes of back and forth with driver calling the office we were invited into bus. When we arrived driver said told us he was going to lead the group to the toilets but when we got out of the bus he was gone and several fellow guests could not find him. We did find the interpreter at the start and then found toilets. It would have been helpful to all for interpreter to explain while we were in the bus the process of entry-1. Pass bags thru security check like the airport. 2. Be ready to show passport and ticket . 3. Show ticket again at second entry. 4. Pick up audio headphones and meet to assure all had working headphones. And that bus driver would lead one group to toilets and interpretor would take other group and meet at designated point. We had good communication before the tour to let us know that meeting point pickup had changed from our hotel pickup to different location about 5 minutes away probably due to road construction near our hotel.

11 hours for a 3 hour tour - the visit and guide at Auschwitz were great - very moving, great commentary and headsets so we could hear her. the logistics etc were dreadful. 11 hour tour for 3 hours at Auschwitz. we booked a 10.10 am pickup which EAS changed to 7.45 am the night before. the coach wasn't there at 7.45, after stressing we needed to be there 10.mins early, and we didn't leave til 8.10. next was a stop at a petrol station - we had no idea why or for how long? arrived at Auschwitz approx 11am (for a 90 minute trip?) and were told to queue in the line wuth I'd- this took announcement? the tour description says 'guaranteed to skip the long lines'. by this stage we were booked on a 12.45 tour - so almost 3 hours after we'd parked. other tours went straight in! security , airport standard - was at ge entry too. the tour in Auschwitz (Aushwitz guide) was very good, same guides for all tours, and her stories brought the place to life. at the end of tbe tour, we went back to the coach, they said leaving at 4.30, so we got on the coach at 4.20 pm. didn't leave til 5pm, so not back til 7pm. a 7 to 8 hour tour became 11 hours. not good.

Unprofessional customer service - We are extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite planning and looking forward to the trip, our tour was abruptly canceled with very little notice. There was no adequate explanation provided. The lack of communication and the short notice left me scrambling to make alternative plans, causing significant inconvenience and additional costs. Viator should have compensated us to make up for the mess and spoil our holiday.Their inability to manage bookings and provide satisfactory customer support is unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and book with a more reputable company.
