Additional Information

Auschwitz, established in 1940, served as the largest concentration camp where the Nazis imprisoned Poles and individuals from other nations. They were victimized by Hitler’s fascism, isolated and subjected to either slow death by starvation, strenuous labor, sinful experiments, individual killings, or mass slaughters. This site indeed offers a sobering visit.

Wieliczka Salt mine constitutes an invaluable monument of global material culture, the only mining site still in operation since the medieval times.
• It’s one of Poland’s most visited attractions
• It encompasses an elaborate network of underground passages accounting for 3,000 chambers, extending to 300 km in length, and lying between 64 to 327 meters below the surface
• In 1978, it earned a spot on UNESCO’s pioneering list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites

  • Please note that the maximum size of backpacks or handbags brought into the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum can not exceed dimensions: 30x20x10cm
  • A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
  • A maximum of 8 people per booking
  • For all bookings made for 2021 for Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, we need surname and name of every participant (the same as in their ID or PASSPORT). If we will not get it, we will not be able to buy entrance tickets to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
  • Please make sure to bring with you to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, ID or PASSPORT, because the guards will ask about it before enter. Without it, you will not be able to enter the museum.

A humble yet harrowing tour - Absolutely brilliant. Such a well informed and humble Auschwitz tour guide for a harrowing experience. Our driver was punctual, polite and helpful with great communication. The mine was excellent too but I will say that perhaps the 2 together in one day is a bit too much. We were exhausted and drained physically and emotionally. That’s the only negative though. It feels wrong to say a fabulous experience given the nature of it but you know what I mean. Well worth it

Sensitive and knowledgeable guide and excellent communication from company - Did the joint tour and had Jacob as our guide for Auswitz. A very knowledgeable guide who delivered a very detailed yet sensitive tour. It should be visited by everyone to ensure that we never forget mans inhumanity to man. The salt mines were just amazing and so worth the time to visit. We did the joint tour on our last day knowing it was going to be long but the pick up for Auswitz changed from 6.30 to 5.40 and the salt mines tour started at 3.15. It made a very long day as didn't get into mines till 4.30 and should have taken us 3 hours but after the tour we didn't do the museum as we were shattered! There was almost 3 hour break in between so be mindful of that and plan accordingly. If you are there for enough time it may be worth doing separate days to get the best out of the latter tour. The communication from this company was excellent and everything on time. Recommend using them.

Exceptional service - highly recommend - The tour, albeit understandably somber due to the location, was outstanding. Prior to our departure our guide (Grzesiek) contacted us via WhatsApp to confirm our booking, pick up location, and to provide us an opportunity to purchase a lunch during the tour. On the day of the trip, Grzesiek was punctual and provided us with all of the information we needed. I highly recommend this service to people looking to visit this memorial site.

Perfection - Organised to perfection. The day started with a trouble free pick up at 7am. Our driver was outstanding throughout the day . We Arrived at Auschwitz before the long queues started and allotted a tour guide who took us between the two camps . He was so Sensitive , respectful and delivered the information with dignity and empathy . A day that all 8 of us are never going to forget . We had a contrast for the afternoon when we were taken to the salt mine. Again smooth process from arrival when our driver handed us to the guide . Amazing, a trip certainly worthwhile . Combining three in one is well worth it

Well worth a long day - Our guide Barbara during Auschwitz-Birkenau was knowledgeable and respectful and provided great information while on site. Our driver Daniel explained all instructions very clearly and reached out early for pick up instructions and lunch options. The salt mines were amazing and well worth a long day. It does become a long day, however it is not overly taxing and finishing at the wonderful salt mines offsets the emotional visits to the camps.

Not worth it. - This was industrial tourism. Too fast, too many in a group. Not enough time to experience the sites. Way too much walking. Our “ guide was nothing but a driver and not at all interested in enhancing the experience. No information beyond the tour script of the site guides.

terribleorganization - excursion booked, and paid for, one month in advance. The evening before the event, the tour is cancelled, an email with scant explanations. The other groups leave regularly, so they wrote lies to us. Dozens of phone calls, and chat messages, so much more waste of time. In very unpolite ways they tell us that they will do nothing to find us another similar tour. They are unreliable, rude, incompetent. Never again
