Your inclusive day trip commences with an early morning pickup from your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus. Initially, you’ll explore the Auschwitz-Birkenau detention center. Following this, journey to Wieliczka where you’ll enjoy an hour-long break for lunch, before visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine. A professional local guide with a headset will accompany your small group at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. A knowledgeable local tour guide will be present at the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
- Important note! You choose your preferred pickup time. Your preferred time is not guaranteed. Departure is possible between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. You will be informed about the exact departure time the day before the tour.
- The break in visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum lasts about 10 minutes. The lunch break between visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Wieliczka Salt Mine lasts approximately 1 hour
- The service does not include lunch
- Museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Day, April 16 and December 25
- The maximum size of backpacks brought into the Museum cannot exceed dimensions 30x20x10 cm
- For all bookings we need full names of all participants (same as in ID or passports). You will be also asked to have your ID during the tour

Peaceful - I went on the 17th of November 2024, I had a tour guy named Martin who was excellent and very friendly, early in the morning pickup but you will spend most of the day having a educational experience!

Excellent trip with an excellent guide to match! - Martin our guide was clearly very knowledgeable on the subject, these sort of trips are always much better when your guide is as passionate as Martin is. It was a long trip but enough breaks are given to break it up and all in all was an excellent trip where much was learned. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Cultural break - Our trip was absolutely fantastic, salt mines were a must see ,it's amazing what is actually underground and we had a fantastic guide Marcinluuu for Auschwitz and Birkenau he was very informative and was very obviously passionate about the subject ,It was a long tiring day but very much worth it .

History comes to life - This was great trip. An early start but a great trip. Be prepared to see some heavy things at Auschwitz. I knew what this awful place was learning about it since I was young. However, seeing it in person it made all the history come to life! Our tour guide was amazing! She did an amazing job explaining everything to us.
The salt mines were the perfect way to end the day. We arrived at the salt mines, had time to eat lunch and walk around before our tour started. It was a hot day so the 59 degree temps in the mine were welcome! The salt mines are massive! Our guide was friendly and interactive. He learned people names and where they were from. By the end of the trip we all felt like friends!
The history of the mines along with massive rooms that have been constructed are truly a must see!
If you are looking to cover a lot of ground in one day this tour is for you!

Great way to experience history - We had an absolutely wonderful day with our guide Martin! He was knowledgeable on the topics and was very passionate about it! The trip was long and we had to get up earlier as requested, but it was definitely worth it to get him as a guide.
The reason we give 4 instead of 5 is because of the information given beforehand. It was a lot of messages about the trip such as cancelling, changing of time and other possible solutions. One of the solutions was to get our own tickets at Auschwitz which we already paid for though the booking. But luckily for us, that did not happen. We also had some minor issues they helped us with through messages, which was very helpful.

The day before our visit...Unpresentable!!!! - It is the day before our organized visit to Crackovia and the Auschwitz camp and we received an e-mail in which we change the schedule of it in advance to 5:40 in the morning, due to unforeseen circumstances. Quickly I look at the weather part and there is nothing that indicates even rain... Unpresentable!!!! And they still have the hard face to offer you a paying lunch service, no deference or apology.
We were hesitant to organize the visit ourselves or do it through this agency and we decided to do it through them because we trusted in their professionalism. Big mistake ours!!! I only have to spread, hopefully you can read me in time and you can avoid them.

Avoid booking with this company - We booked our trip in September whilst on our weekend break 1-3 Nov. Two days before our departure they cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, no tour guide. Having spoken to a few people whilst in Krakow, they basically overbook then cancel people nearer the time. Too late to rebook as no availability but found one triple the price per person basically £250 each. No slots left at Auschwitz even trying to book a time and making our own way there. Very very disappointed as our trip to Krakow was based on this visit. Upon contacting company they were unhelpful and didn’t seem to care

Super unprofessional Kraków tour&shuttle - Worst tour operator ever!
We booked the 7.55 am tour but the day before they wrote us the pick up would be anticipated at 5.55 am.
Same day in the evening they wrote again telling us that the pick up would be at 5.30 am instead of 5.55 am and that the salt mine tour was cancelled due to technical problems, they offered us a re-book tour of the salt mine on the next day or a 50% refund.
We asked for more information about the tour because we need to re-organize the trip but they never responded.
They wrote us only when we contacted GetYourGuide.com asking for refund (too late guys, be smarter and more professional next time).
The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour was a total mess, we woke up at 5.00 am, arrived at the museum at 7.00 am and started the tour at 10.30 am (two people were missing probably because of their unmotivated anticipation of the pick up).
It was a total waste of time running around the two camp and visiting the nearby little town, the only result was that at the time of the guided tour we were all sleepy.
Avoid this tour operator, they’re not professional nor honest.
Obviously we don’t know if they will refund us just because they decided not to respond us or GetYourGuide.com either.
