A sad part of history followed by a beuatiful salt mine - Auschwitz-Birkenau is a sad part of history. It's very moving to see it and hear all of the history and stories. Jacek was a wonderful guide. There is alot of walking on this tour, so, if you have any kind of mobility issues, you need to be aware. The Wieliczka Salt Mine was uplifting after such a deep tour like Auschwitz. It's beautiful! Again, if you have mobility issues, you will not be able to do this tour. You start off by initially taking hundreds of steps down. Lots of walking and more stairs when you get down. It's worth it if you don't have issues because it's interesting and beautiful. Doing both tours in the same day makes for a long day, but it's so worth it! You could also arrange 2 separate tours. Regardless, you can skip your workout for the day because you will get plenty of steps in.

Great tours - Really good tour but a very long day. Tour guides and drivers were very nice. Communication was brilliant. Good value for money.

Comfortable ✨ - Was an amazing experience, was given plenty of information through WhatsApp from the driver on updated times and what the car description was waiting, I had a comfortable journey to Auschwitz, burkenau and the salt mines the journey time was extended due to protesters in the city and the driver found the quickest route possible. ✌🏼 The driver provided us with all information on times to return, lunch times and when our tour was, we was provided with the group number and English tour guide and headphone at Auschwitz. All together this was a very comfortable day and would recommend to anyone. ✨

Great for short visit - A great all day trip. Pick up was earlier than advertised, however everyone had a nap on way to first stop. Coach trip to first two sites then smaller group on minibus to salt mines. A lot of walking involved, be prepared. Tour guides very informative at all sites. Lunchbox was delicious. Would recommend this trip if only away for weekend. Fell asleep at 19.30 back at hotel after all the walking.

Long but enjoyable day, well worth it - Well organised trip at Auschwitz with headsets but due to the size of the group (31) and the amount of walking, we sometimes missed the guides explanations as she'd started b4 we arrived, same at the Sallt Mines, great day overall though 👍

Got to see everything, but not the best organised trips - We got to see the 2 promised locations, and transported there and back. But the “tour” itself is more just a transportation service. It lacked a little organisation, and we were stood around at times wondering what’s happening. The driver was just that - a driver who handed out tickets and gave very little information in hard to understand english sometimes. The only opportunity to have lunch is on the actual bus after the first tour, by which time you are starving. (You have to bring your own or order it from them before.) The bus was full of crumbs already from previous tours already so it just seems like a flawed system. We got to Auschwitz an hour early and were waiting around having “free time” in freezing cold in their poorly equipped parking lot which only had one working coffee vending machine. (So you spend all your free time queuing with nowhere to sit). Not the tour company’s fault - but such a strange choice. On the way back to the salt mines the bus stops and we had to move to a mini-van to go to the salt mines. The announcement to move from the bus to the van was so vague that we were a bit confused, so I totally see why the previous reviews said that they missed it. But the drivers did seem to check and double check that the right names/people got on the van after. For both locations, an in-house tour guide takes over and we meet the drivers back at the buses, so overall it seems like the only benefits of booking the trips this way is to get transported there and back and have someone book and hand over the tickets. Be sure to bring snacks. The entire day lasted about 11-12 hours, and the quick breaks are usually not enough to get anything more substantial than a hot drink and quick bite (other than the lunch on the bus that’s on the way to the salt mines).

It's just a transfer more than a tour - Pickup was booked at 8:00 and the day before the tour was told it would be at 04:50. We arrived to Auschwitz at 6:00 and didn't enter until 09:30, so this early pickup didn't make sense as we had to wait for way too long outside the camp. Also, even if tickets are included, they were not booked in advance (hence why we couldn't get earlier tickets than 09:30am). The tour itself was provided by the Auschwitz and Salt Mine guides (not by this tour). So in reality what you're getting is just a drive from Krakow to the sites and back. No fault to the driver though, he was excellent.

Thrown under the bus instead of on one - I would have loved to write a review about this tour, but that would’ve only been possible if we actually got picked up. Between Getyourguide and Cracow Tours and transfers the customer service is non-existent. They updated the time of the bus pick up but all the emails sent had the original time except for 1 little tiny line in the sea of emails with the title of the email still stating the original time. The last email sent at 11:43pm the evening before the tour still had the original time and not the updated time. Between the 2 platforms neither took responsibility and when we contacted customer service we were offered no alternatives, had the phone put down on us and were just given some poor excuse of “we tried to contact you”. I’ve been on a fair number of tours and this has by far been the most disappointing in terms of customer service.

Trip Cancelled at relatively short notice - I booked this tour several weeks ago for our group of 3 in anticipation that it was going to be a genuine worthwhile trip during our short stay in Krakow for the 1st of November while also being aware that the 1st was a public holiday. I received an email on the 30th of October informing me that the Tour was "Cancelled" which left us very disappointed. We then tried our hotel reception / information desk and also online to see if it was possible to get any other similar tour to Auschwitz for which we were informed that it was too late and not possible at such short notice, however we were successful in getting to the Salt Mines. So if using this site be very careful not to be left disappointed as we were.

Unpleasant staff - Tour guide was a bit of a smug. Driver/ tour guide of salt mine group didnt care to give any details. Just handed out the ticket. Everything was rushed so the salt mine group can catch the salt mine tour Turned out that the salt mine tour is at 17:00 Given that time, the departure time should be an hour later so more time to see Auscwitchz 1 and 2 or at a slower pace. Lack of coordination of the tour guide/s and drivers.
