Holy smokes! - Well, what can I say about this? The driver that picked me up from the hotel was really polite and took me to the meeting point where we boarded a coach to the Salt Mine first. The driver that stuck with me and everybody else was so funny and very polite! Jay his name was. The Salt Mine was very deep underground, but spectacular doesn’t even cover it. The tour guide for my group was Joanna and she was absolutely brilliant - funny, knowledgeable and delivered smiles all round! We got to stop at gift shops and have breaks through the mine. AMAZING! After the Salt Mine, Jay then took us to Auschwitz & Birkenau where we had to go through security and then led downstairs to meet our tour guide Renata. Renata was very knowledgeable and let us all let the experience sink in. To see everything in Auschwitz was just sombre and really thought-provoking. After Auschwitz, we went to Birkenau and saw a sample of the camp. We saw the ruins of the gas chambers, the undressing area and the locations of the crematoria. We got to see one of the barracks and inside it too. An emotional tour, but Renata kept it together for me and everyone else in the group. We finished the tour and Jay took us back to Kraków. The whole day was absolutely brilliant from start to finish… would totally recommend to everyone to do this tour!!

Although combining these... - Although combining these two tours is very tiring, we are pleased we did it. Auschwitz was very thought provoking and the salt mines were worth the visit. Our guides at both places were good, especially at Auschwitz. Michael our driver was very friendly and polite. Would highly recommend.

Excellent trip - Our bus driver Martin was excellent, he was very informative and helpful, happy to answer any questions that the group may have had. The trip at salt mines was very interesting, our guide at the salt mines (not affiliated with this specific trip, you get a random guide at the mine) unfortunately did not provide clear instructions or take us back to the start at the end of the tour which caused a lot of confusion amongst our group. However Martin made sure everyone was on the bus and went looking for people who were a little late than the rest of us. The visit to Auschwitz was very informative. The guide we had there was very emotional and passionate about the history which made the trip. I’m not sure of her name but she was blonde, petite, with glasses. She was full of lots of information and answered any questions the group had. Really excellent trip, thank you

Must-see - The Auschwitz Birkenau tour was informative but it would've been nicer if it wasn't so crowded and a bit rushed. But this isn't the fault of the tour guide, just that so many people visit the camp every year. I would have preferred to see Auschwitz first during the day, and then the Salt Mines tour in the afternoon (but this is something beyond the tour operator's control) as many people also want to see the Salt Mines. Highly recommended

Private tour - Our guide Krystian was amazing. The team incharge also were very organised and did not rush us as they have their time planned already. Overall a great experience with the guides.

Intense in every sense of the word - Excellent day with very interesting guides at both the salt mine and Auschwitz Birkenau. The film on the way to Auschwitz was a good introduction and prepared us well. Thanks to the driver/guide Jacob very punctual and who made us laugh.

A day of joy and mega sadness. - It was worth every penny I spent on these 2 unique tours. The emotions felt visiting the Salt mine were the complete opposite of those felt in the afternoon at Auschwitz Birkenau. The day and both trips were brilliantly organised, done the right way and a very clever approach used to bring you back down from the highs of the morning to what you were going to feel, experience and learn in the afternoon at Auschwitz. Finally both guides were great and so was the driver. It's a day I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Visiting Auschwitz without a English guide - I have bought a visit to Auschwitz and Mines, with a English guide, but at Auschwitz we got a Polish guide ... this was not good and should not happen.
