See 22 brick barracks, which were prison for hundreds of thousands of victims of the Holocaust. The most chilling is block number 11, the so-called prison within the prison. Block 11 contained special torture chambers including dark chambers or standing cells where various punishments were inflicted on prisoners. The first attempts to kill people with Zyklon B took place in this block. The only preserved crematorium and gas chamber is located at the end of the camp. After the visit to KL Auschwitz 1, travel in the minivan to KL Auschwitz 2 Birkenau. This part of the camp is 25 times larger than Auschwitz 1 and it was the largest of the death camps. Over 1,100,000 people were murdered here. Between 62 wooden barrack are the ruins of 4 crematoriums and gas chambers, which were destroyed by the Nazis in an effort to hide the evidence of their crimes.

Brilliant tour operator - This company was absolutely brilliant, (I was a little nervous, after booking my tip to Autzwich, due to false propaganda, and reviews)
There bus Driver and tour guide Peter was amazing and informative, we need not have had any worries.
The other two lady tour guides will also brilliant. Thank you all so much.

Heart Touching Day Trip - Informative, historical makes us realize the sufferings of the Jews hard to imagine. Our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable.
However, the bus ride experience was not comfortable at all, when the aircon of our mini bus worked only for front seaters while the rest of passengers were sweating from heat. The 3 hours drive back and forth with sweating backs made many of us sick. Our whole vacation in Krakow was partly ruined when many of us got the coughing bug . Exhausted due to coughing bouts..

Mixed Tour - Transportation nothing to say. The sights are to be seen. On the other hand on the visit, I remain mixed.....the guide nothing to say but I remain....barely time to go to the toilet, 15 min to eat and at 3 pm in addition.....

Auschwitz walking tour. Good but not so good. - Have done a lot of walking tours while travelling. I found these guys were really rushing to make it work. The tour guide Mary was excellent, passionate and knowledgeable about the events. Found the people organising this to be pretty abrupt and even uninterested in helping some members who had issues. All in all we our group thought it could have been better.

Look for an alternative provider - Review of Royal Tours transfer more than Auschwitz.
Not a pleasant experience. Asked for us to change from hotel pick up to meet at a central pickup point. Very abrupt on the day with limited information shared.
Transport was less comfortable than other tour operators used during our Krakow trip (noisy and poor air conditioning).
Everything seemed very rushed and included needing to change bus to accommodate different languages.
There was not sufficient time to rest and have a drink/snack.
When a comfort break was given on the way to the museum, they stopped off at toilets that needed payment before continuing a couple of minutes on to the museum with free toilets.

A disappointment - Enterprise not reliable tickets booked 1 month before departure, we land on the eve of the appointment and there we receive a whatsapp message to cancel the visit, and impossible to move or even make a visit with English guide.
We went there and bought the tickets directly with guide for a cheaper rate....

TO BE AVOIDED ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!! - Visit booked and paid for three months when less than 24 hours before the activity, the company sends a WhatsApp announcing its cancellation and does not worry too much about the customer. Company very unreliable and without consideration for the tourist

Don’t advertise tickets if you don’t have them! - Booked a ticket that said it was in stock 10 days in advance of visiting Auschwitz. We travelled for 4 days to make the booking and once arriving to our hotel the night before we got a WhatsApp saying it was cancelled. It suggested we queue at 6am the next day to maybe get a ticket if we are lucky. If you can’t deliver the service, don’t advertise that you have tickets and availability! Really poor and will do what I can to remove this service from GetYourGuide.

Not reccomending - We booked the tour and paid for it. While booking system showed 5 spots available, we booked 3. We started to move towards location and then got the message that they are canceling our booking. Totally ruined all the day plans. Unprofessional. Not recommending.
