Interesting tour, something else! - The tour was very interesting (especially if you are looking for an insight away from the typical tourist experience). Isaac is a sympathetic guide and explains very understandably. Also, the tour pays attention to the dignity of the people of the district!

It was a great tour! - It was the best tour I have ever been on! They showed us around the other side of Hong Kong, something we don't usually visit, and introduced us to places we would never be able to visit on our own. It made me think a lot about the difficult life and housing situation of people there. We wanted to see more of these tours held elsewhere. I highly recommend it.

How long does it take for you to buy a room? - What made me rate this tour 5 out of 5 is that I saw no exaggeration or pressure to agree with something - just the facts that sometimes make sharp contrast against the fancy face of Hong Kong. Andy was a great guide experienced both in local and foreign life. (I'm usually so introverted that I rarely talk with your guides yet I enjoyed chatting about real estate affairs in Japan) Book online and wait for the wonderful experience at the downstairs of exit D of Prince Edward Station, thanks again!

Thought provoking tour - This is an interesting and thought provoking tour. Very good narration and explanation by our guide Keyo. The dark side focuses on the high costs of property and the struggles of lower income family. The small living quarters amplified how stressful for families especially during the Covid pandemic. The interplay between prostitution, triad and drug activities was well explained. During our walk we also saw a drug addict shooting up with a needle in broad daylight. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking for something different when visiting Hong Kong.

Important , fascinating , knowledgeable guide - Organised from start to finish. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this walk and would highly recommend . Stephen our guide had a real passion for sharing a side of HK not advertised by the tourist board and a side well worth seeing . Came away with a greater appreciation of the lives of many Hong Kong people . It was done respectfully and loved the small break with tea and a local sweet and a postcard at the end

It was a wonderful experience that you wouldn't find on a sightseeing trip. It had all the enthusiasm, interest and knowledge of the travellers and tour guides who took part. - It's a unique content. Travellers also had an opportunity to learn and think about the reality of Hong Kong. Because I felt it was important to add that element to a tourist trip. The guide's explanations are also great because of his knowledge and enthusiasm for communicating. However, since it is in English, it is better to bring a translation app.

Another reality - The sites are not that interesting but guide Isaac makes it more engaging with his personal stories by emerging you in the hard reality of locals. Understanding a bit more the struggles and advantages of living in a rich city like HK. I would definitely recommend it. Good value for money.

Something very different to your average tour - Don’t expect to see great sights but it is very informative and a complete contrast to visiting Hong Kong island. Lots of facts and figures to ponder.

Good understanding of local people - Interesting understanding of the local people and their daily struggles, a total difference from the glamourous Macau and the touristy area of Kowloon and The Peak, where I visited.
