- Our Lady of the Rocks - The legend has it that the island has been made over the centuries by local seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding the icon of Madonna and the Child on the rock in the sea on July 22, 1452. Upon returning from each successful voyage, they laid a rock in the Bay. Over time, the islet gradually emerged from the sea. The custom of throwing rocks into the sea is alive even nowadays. Every year on the sunset of July 22, an event called “FaÅ¡inada”, when local residents take their boats and throw rocks, widening the surface of the island, takes place.
Besides the church from the 17th century, there is also a museum of gifts which were mainly donated by sailors and captains who had lived through the storms, battles, and long time at the open sea.
- Perast - We visit the main square in the middle of Perast with the church of St. Nicolaâs and its impressive 55 meters high belfry. From there we continue our walk for about 1 kilometer along with the waterfront, admiring the beautiful architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries, until we meet the vehicle waiting to take us back to Kotor.

Three for the price of one - This excursion managed to provide a sense of Kotor while mostly avoiding the gridlock of every day a cruise ship is in port. Budva is totally different with many modern buildings surrounding an old Citadel. Perast was beautiful with spectacular views at every turn. Three totally different experiences in a few hours.

Nina was a great tour... - Nina was a great tour guide. We enjoyed the old city and the Lady of the Rocks on Perast.
We did not have enough time to drive to Budva so we had lunch at a cafe on the water with
a beautiful view.

Very nice - Since the lake was unsettled, we made the bus trip Budva- Tivat- Perast - Kotor- Budva - this time we visited Perast more closely - Very nice

Best tour on our cruise! - Milos was the best tour guide we had on our trip. He was informative ,funny and honest. We learned a lot about Kotor and people of Montenegro.
Milos brought us to restaurant we never would have found where we had delicious food , wine and the best bruschetta I’ve ever eaten.
Doing a private tour is totally different than the larger tours we’ve been on.
We never felt rushed ,we learned a lot ,ate a lot and laughed a ton.
The hours flew by!! Do this tour!!

Amazing experience! - The tour to Perast, Our Lady of the Rock and Kotor was a perfect day in Montenegro. Our guide Igor was very knowledgeable and gave us options to customize the tour to our interests. Instead of going to another stop, we opted to have lunch at a local restaurant in Perast before heading to Kotor for a walking tour of the old city.
