Beautiful country. - My friend and I went on this excursion and was not disappointed one bit, the cruise on the bay of Kotor was fantastic, and our guide Toni made it even more enjoyable, he was so knowledgeable about everything, what a wonderful way to see Montenegro a country I have never visited but will certainly go back there one day. The lunch on board was very good with three options. This excellent excursion was well worth it. Well done Gulliver travel, thank you, Margaret and Marie.

GULLIVERS Travels montenegro boat cruise/lunch and lady of the rock Island. - Absolutely fantastic day, picked up from our hotel on time and greeted by the guide Tony, what a lovely fantastic funny guy and never once stopped telling us about the history etc of the whole trip, full of knowledge, tony made the whole trip worth while. Even made a joke about my partner being his twin due to the same birthdays. The trip itself was worth every penny, the cruise was amazing and to see the beautiful scenery of Croatia was breath taking. Lunch was 1st class and very quick too, red and white wine on the table also. The lady of the rock was amazing also set in a picturesque landscape. We had enough time to look around after the tour done by Tony. Then onto montenegro which was lovely and a must. Given plenty of time to look around and after a relaxing slow cruise back on another even larger boat. The whole trip is worth every penny and a big Thankyou to Tony who made it even more enjoyable, if your lucky to get him as your tour guide your do OK.

Stunning scenery and best guide - Two things made this tour for us, the stunning scenery and Tony our guide. The scenery speaks for itself but Tony not only speaks perfect English, but is very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble for him. Our Tui rep didn’t tell us we needed Euros and we didn’t take our card so we were left with no money, but Tony even offered a few Euros to tide us over which we didn’t take but really appreciated the offer. Gullivers we hope you appreciate what a gem you have in Tony.

Overall a great day out - A great day out. On the expensive side but still worth it. Our guide Marco was excellent - very organised at border crossings and in making sure we knew where we needed to be. The online info could have been better (e.g. making it clear that you could swim in sea or, for an extra cost of €5 each payable in cash, at the Blue Cave). But overall it was a great way to see a beautiful part of the world.

Great tour guide - Overall this was a great trip! The tour guide, Tony, was full of interesting information and facts about both Croatia and Montenegro. Tony was super friendly and genuinely cared about the guests having a fun time on the trip. He made the trip for us! Only 2 draw backs for us: 1) the trip is a lot of sitting down. A long time sitting on the coach and a long time sitting on the boat. Felt a bit stiff after! 2) this draw back can easily be fixed and I think was fed back to the holiday reps. We were not told that we would need euros if we wanted to buy anything in Montenegro. Luckily we stopped in a shopping centre where we could draw money out for an ATM but just be aware you won’t be able to use kuna.

Not what we were expecting.. - Me and my friend were sold this trip by a TUI rep. The rep made the trip sound very appealing however, missed out important detail which, had we known we probably would not have booked. Most of the day is spent travelling with a 6:35am pick up, it took us over 4.5hours to get to the cruise (1.5hours at the boarder which is out of season) and nearly 4 hours to get back to the hotel once the day was over. So the day itself only consisted of 5 hours of excursion which could've been done in 2/3 hours in our opinion. The tour guide Tony, was very good and very knowledgeable. We couldn't fault him however, we feel that as an overall trip we wouldn't recommend it for the cost and huge amount of travel involved.

Great guide - visit average - Done on tuesday 31/07/2018 A long bus ride and waiting time at the border with Montenegro. Between 1.5 and 2 hours before we arrived at the small boat. That boat brought us after 1.5 h to the entry of the see into the bay. There we moved to a bigger boat ParisKotor for a swim and lunch. Lunch was 3 courses and every fine. Then we sailed another 1.5 h to the island of the Holy Mary visit of 3/4 hour and the sailing to Kotor and visit of 1.5 h. Kotor is beautifull. Then 2 hours+ bus drive back. The only interesting part was Kotor. The most interesting part was Drago (?) Our guide who told us the whole way historical information and entertained us. He is the reason for the 3 stars.

Waste of a day! - Booked this trip through Tui, a total of 13 hours to just get an hour in Kotor! Took nearly 4 hours on the coach which didn't have a working toilet to get to the boat for the cruise part, we did stop off at a hypermarket for a toilet break & to change money to Euro's as that's what they use in Montenegro! Boat was average & featured plastic garden chairs, got charged almost double for beers as crew member pretended he had no change!!! 3 course lunch was average to say the least. After ambling around the bay at about 5 knots the boat stopped for 40 minutes for another tour group to swim :( Then went to an island with a small church where we wasted another hour. Eventually reached Kotor which was the reason we went on the trip, just an hour to attempt to see the city!, not impressed. Didn't get back to hotel until 8pm.

Beautiful scenery but journey from hell! - We booked a similar day trip to Montenegro with the same company via Tui, our tour operator, without the cruise element. On a positive side the driver was brilliant, the guide fantastic, extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the scenery stunning when you get there. We couldn’t fault that element. The problem is at this time of the year the border crossing between Croatia and Montenegro is complete carnage and took over 2.5 hours one way and 2 hours on the way back. That is just to get across the border, no driving or travelling. We were meant to be back at our hotel by 19.15 and eventually arrived back after midnight. For the most scenic part of the journey around the valleys and mountains it was dark. Out of season this trip would probably be very relaxed and enjoyable but really don’t think it should be run as a day trip in peak season.
