One day for multiple cities in Montenegro - This is a great tour to give a quick visit to a few cities in Montenegro. Our driver/guide Darko is very experienced. He knows all shortcuts and alternatives to avoid traffic and cut waiting time for boarder crossings. Unfortunately, there was a wildfire near the borderline when we were returning to Dubrovnik. Darko tried every way and we were lucky enough to cross the boarder in no time. I hope it can be more time to enjoy each place when all constructions are done and traffic is no longer an issue.

Fantastic way to see Montenegro and an introduction to this beautiful country - We wanted to see Montenegro as a long day tour, as we were vacationing in Croatia and did not want to keep moving and lose valuable time. Still wanted to enjoy the evening in Dubrovnik. This was a perfect fit. Small group, easy to navigate through large coach bus tourists. Another point: since we had to cross borders and back, presenting passports and get them stamped, doing this in a small group would save so much time!! Our Dubrovnik Smile Travel tour guide and driver, Andrew (he goes by this English name), picked us up at the arranged location in Dubrovnik (the Cable Car station) right on time. Our first stop was Perast, a short boat ride we went to see Our Lady of the Rocks. We were the first group on the island, had the place all to ourselves!!! What magic. Next stop is Kotor, UNESCO World Heritage site and the old city that was built between the 12th and 14th centuries. We entered the city to enjoy all the medieval architecture and churches. It is amazing to see the city wall and the surrounding emerald "moat". This is such a charming town. We even had plenty of time to enjoy the krempita dessert (cream bake), recommended by our tour guide. Forza Café was delightful. Our last stop is Budva, another charming town. Here we enjoyed a nice seafood lunch right on the harbor waterfront. After lunch we walked down the pedestrian zone to old town. Explored Budva old town for a while, visiting churches and walked the Citadel and city wall. What a stunning view. We got to see Sveti Nikola, also known as Hawaii Island in the near distance. It was a perfect day to visit Montenegro and thanks to our guide and driver for getting us there and back safely.

Busy but fun day in Montenegro. - Our tour guide Andrew’s experience, knowledge and friendliness were the key to making this a great trip! This is the perfect excursion to give you a taste of these beautiful sites. A excellent way to see it all in one day. Andrew had great recommendations at each stop, while giving us the freedom to choose how we explored in the town. His expertise and the small group tour allowed us to visit each site before the crowds arrived giving us maximum enjoyment on a busy July day! We appreciated his historical knowledge and sense of humor. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone trying to squeeze the highlights of Montenegro.

It's worth the long drive to visit these beautiful places. - Spectacular place. Guide, Ivo, gave us a lot of information. Although the trip was somewhat long, the information provided by Ivo (driver-guide) made it entertaining (Spanish and English). Recommended walk. I wish we had had a little more time in each of the places.

Great Montenegro experience & history - Our tour guide Ivo was fantastic, knew so much. Highly recommend! But warning: not for those who get motion sickness from twisty roads.

Do not recommend - Terrible guide, did not feel safe posting review until after we left Croatia due to them having our address. Andrew our tour guide for the day made everything terrible. We were on time at our locations but he just seemed so angry and did not want to be there or provide a proper tour. He then went on a long political rant, demanding tips and kept complaining because guests did not take the trip to the island with the church in Perast. He kept complaining that it was suggested he knew the person who he recommended up to go to in perast the first stop. So he refused to give any additional recommendation through out the day. He then went on a rant about him being a white nationalist and not believing he is a fascist. He said Croatia is better because they have no immigrants and he believes it should stay as it is. Places are unsafe with immigrants. Every person in the car was an US citizen but immigrant. He then made many comments against middle eastern, Arabic and Muslim people. Extremely Islamophobic, I am not Muslim but I felt very uncomfortable with the comments he made about their community and did not feel safe. He kept begging for tips saying 80 of his money comes from tips and just had a bad attitude all day. His guide skills were unprofessional and I wish I had selected a different tour. I was hopeful because of other reviews but I would never tell anyone to go on this tour. Choose a different one, do not risk being with him
