Great Shinobi experience - AMAZING! Best thing we did with teen boys by far, in Tokyo. Hyoga was a superb teacher, . The experience was super authentic, unlike some of the more touristy experiences. My boys loved it, and we have memories for life. We got to dress like ninjas, learnt how ninjas walked, through shuriken and chopsticks (yes, I said chopsticks), use kusarigama, what a ninjato (the ninja’s sword) was use for and, my favourite, the blow gun (fukiya). Just a great experience.

One of best activities to do in Tokyo - Great : I have been solo and we were 4. This activity is mixed between information about ninja and samouraï, different uses of samouraï sword, different technical of ninja (sword, walk safety, use of different weapons). Good atmosphere. It was a great moment, I recommend it. Thanks to the teacher !

Great choice for a family activity - We spent two hours as a family and the time went by really quickly. The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly and we got to try different things which we enjoyed a lot. As a bonus, the instructor offered to take a few nice photos of us. Definitely an experience we will remember.

Basically an intro course into the skills and mindset of the samurai and ninja. - Absolutely wonderful experience. We learned a lot, got to handle several weapons, and learned a lot about sword form. A must do for your Tokyo trip ESPECIALLY for families.

2 hour lesson review - In June 2025 I visited this location with my brother and this was a fun yet unique experience to do during my trip out in Tokyo! The space was clean and welcoming, the instructor was nice and very entertaining. We learned about the history of ninjas and samurais, dojo techniques, handsigns, trained with weapons and overall this was a fun and immersive experience!

We're a Ninja Family - This activity was so much fun, but we also learned so so much. Our ninja teacher was Bodou. He was amazing. He was engaging, and he gave great examples of what he was teaching whether it be movie references or a reference to everyday life like stepping on a Lego. We got to dress up as ninja, learned techniques, practiced what we learned and most importantly learned the purpose and role ninja serve. Highly recommend for a family, friends and anyone who is interested in the artform or just fun.

Family of 4 Ninja/ Samurai experience - Finding the Ninja/Samurai experience was quite easy. It was a direct walk from the station. Enjoyed the experience with my wife and two kids (13 and 11). We all had a great time and learned a lot about ninjas and samurai's, in particular the respect given to their katanas. Our ninja trainer, Bodou, did a great job, made us all comfortable and with some added jokes. Highly recommended.

Samurai and Ninja Lesson - We arrived to the building and walked the four short flights of stairs. The elevator was not working so keep this in mind just in case you are with someone that may have difficulties climbing stairs. The instructor changed us into ninja outfits and began explaining some history and guiding us through breathing techniques. We practiced stealth-walking, using a ninja sword, using a samurai sword, throwing stars, blow darts and so much more. This activity exceeded all of our expectations and we had a ball. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to learn, have fun and do something different in Tokyo.
