Very Informative Tour - Our guide Marcin was great! He picked us up from our hotel and took us to the monument, providing us a detailed history of Operation Reinhart along the way. Once at the monument he showed us around the museum and prepared us for what we would be seeing. On our walk in he gave many interesting facts and details of what we were seeing, helping us to fully realize the scope of what had happened there. The cold weather and a large school group threw a couple challenges, but we were able to navigate all with his assistance. After the tour we enjoyed a delicious lunch in a small village and informative conversation on our trip back to Warsaw. I highly recommend this tour and experience!

Private tour of Treblinka - We very much appreciated our private trip with Marcin. We were picked up on time from our hotel in a large SUV. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions on the way there. When we arrived Marcin advised us to view the museum to get an idea of what the camp looked like and even arranged for us to see some films. He then walked with us to where the camp was and explained the layout before giving us some time to ourselves. We were the only ones there and the site of the camp is quite remote situated in a wooded clearing. He then took us to a local restaurant for lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour with Marcin.

A Moving Tour of Treblinka - This tour is an excellent way to see and understand Treblinka, while exploring the area outside of Warsaw. Martin was quite knowledgeable about the history of Treblinka, and personalized the tour for us. We also stopped at a restaurant on the way back and sampled traditional Polish food. It was a tasty way to end our tour. Thank you ,Martin for sharing the Warsaw area with us!

An experience. Well worth it. Excellent guide. Way better than going alone. - I heard of Treblinka about 60 years ago. For those interested in World War 2 it is well worth visiting the actual camp, though it was totally destroyed. It is also better to travel there with a guide than going alone. Marco is a great guide and we learnt a lot. He was a pleasure to be with and very patient with us. We were also very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour with no hesitation.

A MUST DO!! - While there are no buildings left on the camp grounds of Treblinka, it is nevertheless a powerful symbolic reminder of the atrocities that took place there. We cannot recommend this tour enough. My daughter and I were lucky enough to be assigned Marcin as our guide and he made our experience very special and memorable. From the moment he picked us up, we knew we were going to be in the BEST hands. He is extremely kind and courteous and his intelligence and vast knowledge of the history of Treblinka and Poland in general was extremely impressive. We began the tour with a visit to the museum, where we watched a few short films giving us a first introduction to Treblinka’s history, and saw several artifacts that were excavated and preserved, such as victims’ belongings and actual tiles from the gas chambers, He then led us down the long cobblestone road to the actual grounds where an estimated 900,000 Jews were exterminated in just a year and a half. He gave us ample time to privately explore and reflect. It was a bittersweet emotional experience, but a very important one. On one hand, it felt eerie to be standing in what was once a death camp , but we also felt as though the victims could somehow feel our presence, love, and respect. Many butterflies randomly flew by, which we took ti be a sign that they knew we were there. After we left, Marcin treated us to a delicious lunch at a traditional Polish restaurant, where he taught us many things about the food and culture in Poland. We could not have asked for a better tour experience. This is definitely a must-do, and having Marcin lead us made it that much more special.

Great experience - What a lovely day we had, despite the sad subject. We had a fantastic guide who gave us a lot of information and drove us from the meeting point (because our hotel wasn't in the pickup zone but this was a very easy way to solve it). A great experience where you get time to process everything at your own pace. Also a very nice lunch with a wonderfull view and an opportunity to taste local dishes. In short: we definitely recommand this! Thank you.

Thanks for the heartbreaking tour of Treblinka - Marcin was our tour guide and driver and he provided an excellent history on the way from Warsaw to Treblinka. He also accompanied us on the tour and provided extra details. Enjoyed talking to him about the history, his own family’s personal history, and modern day Polish life. Lunch was a hearty, authentic meal. Very clean restaurant. Worth the drive to Treblinka but be aware that it’s more of a memorial museum albeit still quite moving and informative.
