Nice visit - Being able to travel to another country during our holiday. Market feels a bit chaotic. Walk around the harbour for better restaurants and shops.

Day trip to bodrum. Worth a visit lots to see and do. The culture between Greece and Turkey amazes me. - The boat trip over was lovely and relaxed. Lots of beautiful views to take in and the wind in your face kept us nice & cool. There’s plenty to do when you get there probably to much to see in the 5 hours you are there. The bodrum fort is interesting and the amphitheatre is a must see. Lots of shops and places to eat too. Would have liked more time to fit it all in. Sat at the back of the boat on the way back. You will get wet but I enjoyed it was fun.

Very professional service - Everything went perfect from start to finish on our day trip to Bodrum. Our pickup was on time and very comfortable , a lady was waiting at the port to show us where to go and told us where our bus would be when we arrived back in the evening .We had a great day out and would definitely recommend Kos Activities and especially Lazoras who answered all our questions ,thanks Lazoras👍

Very good organisation over the entire trip - The independent trip from Kos to Bodrum including transfer from the hotel was very well organised. Everything went very well, from the pick-up from the hotel to the check-in at the ship to the transport back to the hotel. Everything had a smooth process and the service was very good. I can only recommend this to everyone

Worth the trip! - Great experience but the reason for not rating it 5* is the long waits for passport control and long wait on the boat before departure (both ways), despite simply following the instructions given. Anyway, definitely worth a visit....and make sure you do the castle! There's an awful lot of history here!!! At 23€ per person (yes, Euros), it's a tad expensive!

In and of itself, the tour with this operator is recommended. This time, however, not at all. - Before the absolutely delayed departure, we and all other passengers were also kept waiting for about 30 minutes in the scorching heat in blazing sun without saying a word. The crossing to Bodrum went smoothly and without incident. At the agreed time, we, like all other passengers, arrived at the port on time. Passport control and everything else went very well. Only our ship, the Appollon II, was not there. After more than 40 minutes of waiting again in blazing sun and scorching heat, this time without any information why, our ship finally arrived in the port. The return journey went as well as the outward journey. There was no reaction from either the tour operator or the shipping company. This is very disappointing and once again gives the impression that you can only pay and nothing else. Next time, another operator and a more reliable shipping company are guaranteed.

Try buy leave fast! - The ferry was good through 🛃 was fast . It was very very busy (expected),BUT bodrum itself was a smelly🤢 place, you cannot walk without being hassled to buy and they get quite pushy🤨you got to say no and just ignore them...we bought stuff WE wanted and happy with it..had a lovely meal more into town price on Parr... Coming back was fast again through customs alarms going off left right and centre but security didn't once look🤣 strange but must be how they work some days🤷... Would we go again definitely not it's ticked off our list but no return I'm afraid.

Worst guided tour I have experienced - Booked through Tui. Included transfers from and to the hotel. Cost about double compared to TripAdvisor. 1. The bus driver screams on the phone throughout the transfer journey to and from. 2. Arriving in the port of Kos, you are met by Tui’s “Guide”. You don’t get any information about the plan for the day, instead you get locked into a long queue in the blazing sun where you wait for about 30 minutes for the boat to Bodrum. There is no shadow. 3. The boat trip takes about 30-40 minutes. Went on the boat "Apollo II". The number of seats on the boat is not enough for everyone. Very hot on the lower deck, fans decent on the upper deck. 4. When disembarking from the boat, the “guide” is not visible. You go like cattle to Turkish passport control. 5. Tui’s “Guide” waits after passport control and states the time for the return journey on the boat. Ring additional information. 6. Locked to minibuses. 35 degrees outside, the AC in the minivan barely works. You are driven around for a few hours and a Turkish Guide tells you a little about the city. Most of the time is spent in traffic jams. The first stop is to see some dilapidated windmills with debris and glass shrapnel strewn all around. About 15-20 min. No shade. Second stop - the ruins of Myndos gate. About 10-15 minutes. Dilapidated and forgotten place. No shadow. Third stop Turkish delight shop, where you get 5% off. About 20-30 min. Fourth “stop” a limited view of the antique theater from inside the minibus. No disembarkation. About 2 minutes. Then end of the actual guided tour. You are left at the port of Bodrum, without further information or suggestions on what to see or do except to shop (and eat at a restaurant they have an agreement with). 7. About 3 hours free time for Shopping and food. Bodrum is chaotic as is Istanbul. A lot of people want to fool you. Dirty. Hot. Hard to find shade. 8. About 40-50 min queuing in shining sun again, limited shade. Security clearance. Passport control. Boat back to Kos city and then transfer to the hotel as described above. + Turkish guide in the minivan - Everything else. Even if this excursion was free I would not recommend it. Better to spend the day at the beach with sun and swimming, which you have already paid for. Now doubly robbed of money. There is so much bad to say that I have not even included everything in this review. Bad. Avoid!
