First up, this is a mountain bike tour. We do not offer tours by e-bike. Be prepared to pedal!
Enjoy a scenic cycle ride through Korcula’s beautiful countryside, visiting local producers and treating your taste buds to fantastic delights.
Starting from Korčula Town, we head towards Lumbarda with our first stop just 15 minutes away. Here, you’ll meet one of the region’s top honey producers, learn about their process, and taste their delicious honey.
Back on your bike, we’ll take picturesque country trails, passing olive groves and vineyards, before arriving at family run Grk-producing winery. Sit back and savour several island-produced wines, paired with delicious regional snacks.
Our final stop is a short pedal away at the home of our friend Ivan. You’ll sample their award-winning jams, homemade liqueurs, wine, sweet treats, and olive oil. This taste extravaganza is topped off with crepe-style pancakes filled with jam. Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to Korcula by van.
- Important note about the cycling. Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and experience of riding a bike. You will cycle around 10kms and this includes some road cycling, several hills and some off-road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.

Please meet us at "Plokata" square in Korcula Town. There is a non-working circular metal fountain in the centre and stone benches around the outside. The square is located next to OTP bank.

The Best of Korcula - We loved our Taste of Korcula Bike Tour! My friend and I only had a weekend in Korcula and chose this tour as our first experience on the island. John was an entertaining and well-versed guide, sharing his love for this Croatian island with us as well as his and his wife’s desire to help other local businesses where we stopped along our route. We enjoyed everything about this 6km trek, from the beautiful landscape to the food (honey, figs, jams, and almonds) and drink (local spirits, Grk, and other wines). We highly recommend booking a tour with Korcula Explorer!

Lovely afternoon - pretty views, wonderful people and great treats - We had a wonderful afternoon with John biking around Korcula, trying all kinds of local treats. It was appreciated that he takes you to some of the smaller establishments where you get to spend time with the makers of all the wonderful products. The bikes were in good condition and the cycling wasn’t too strenuous. We definitely had a good time!

Explore the regional wine and so much more!! - This was a great experience to ride through the countryside and explore different vineyards while enjoying the views. Great hosts with delicious wine and treats. Loved the stop at the place that makes honey and learned a lot throughout this tour. John was a great tour guide. Fun was had by all!! Highly recommend!!

Fun Tour - These kinds of trips are supposed to be fun and this one certainly was. John is a good guy who is entertaining and fun. My wife and I had a great time. The ride was scenic and the wineries were delightful.
PS: John claims his wife is an even better guide than he is.

Really great excursion in Korcula! - Rachel is great! The entire tour went off smoothly even though thunderstorms were forecasted by the end (and we made it just in time!). We started our bike tour in Korcula town and rode across the island into Lumbarda area. We rode on a bunch of surfaces, main roads, dirt roads and through vineyards and villages. The biking isn't strenuous and very enjoyable. The views are great and you're able to stop in the vineyards for pictures. We biked to 2 different wineries and tested some great Local Croatian wine and snacks- oh the fresh figs! The group was only 8 people and such a great way to meet others who have a same interest in biking and traveling, and drinking good wines. Rachel was very knowledgeable and so genuine. So happy we did this tour. Would recommend this tour over and over again!

A Fantastically Enjoyable Experience on Korcula - We had such a fabulous time with John our host. The cycling and scenery were great and we had such a good insight into the real Korcula and its people. Bee man was brilliant ( Lisa pretty much fell in love with him 😀 ) as was the information that he gave. Best ever marmalade plus how the word came into being - brilliant ! The wine at Bire’s was delicious , especially that first glass of sparkling Rose , could have sat there and supped a bottle of that ! Being invited into Ivan’s home and little world was delightful. He is a lovely man , full of life and very contagious - especially after sampling the liqueurs!
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and evening with an enthusiastic and informative host.

Book this trip! - I did the bike and wine tour with Korcula Explorer. It was a fantastic experience. Rachel was warm and welcoming and made sure the experience was a cohesive one - even for this solo traveler who was constantly lagging a little behind ;). It was definitely one of the the most fun experiences of my trip. I’d highly recommend this tour!

A warm and personal tour - A lovely tour around the wine area surrounding Korcula Town. The cycling wasn’t too advanced, which was welcomed with the heat. The tour was given by Rachael, who shared insight on the local area, local life and the wine. Every stop was like being welcomed into an old friends house and were generous with the wine and food. A great tour that I’d highly recommend!
