• Koper - Upon meeting at the cruise terminal or another preferred location in Koper, the journey will begin with a direct trip to Piran, the oldest town in Slovenia, often referred to as the “museum town.”

Located at Slovenia’s westernmost point, Piran is nestled between Italy and Croatia.

• Piran Tourist Information Centre - Guests will be dropped off in the heart of Piran, an ideal starting point to explore this charming town independently for up to two hours.

Piran’s architecture is heavily influenced by the Venetian Republic from the 15th century, offering a Venetian feel without the crowds, preserving its spirit over the years. Many residents still live there, contributing to its unique atmosphere. Whether visiting the church, relaxing under the statue of Giuseppe Tartini—a renowned violinist born in Piran—or wandering through its narrow streets, exploring the town’s market, or enjoying a glass of exquisite Slovenian wine by the coast, visitors are sure to fall in love with this enchanting old town.

Piran is also home to various artists from Slovenia and beyond.

• Piran Town Walls - After approximately two hours, the group will reconvene and head to the city walls above the town for a brief 10-minute photo stop.

• Portoroz Beach - The scenic drive from Piran passes through Portoroz, another coastal town where much of Slovenia’s coastal tourism occurs.

• Turisticno Zdruzenje Izola - On the return journey to Koper, the route goes through Izola, the third of Slovenia’s four coastal towns, known for its fishing heritage.

• Nature Park Strunjan - From Izola, the drive continues through the Strunjan regional park, with a 10-minute photo stop above the salt fields.

• Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower - The tour concludes with a return to the ship or another preferred accommodation. Transportation is smooth and relaxing. Upon arrival in Koper, guests can choose to be dropped off at the ship or the old town center, approximately 10 minutes away.
