- Piran - Piran is one of the oldest and most beautiful Slovene towns with rich history and culture. Almost 500 years lasting Venetian influence has given this town an inimitable charm. Its culture heritage is not at home only in museums since the architectural and artistic pearls, which decorate the everyday life of the local people, can be found at every corner.
- Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg) - Giuseppe Tartini, the world famous composer and violinist, who was born and raised in Piran, had a great impact on the town. Today, his bronze statue adorns the town’s main square together with Tartini’s house where visitors can admire one of his violins. The Tartini Square is surrounded by majestic buildings, such as the richly decorated Municipal Palace, Tartini Theatre, Maritime Museum, Aquarium, Marine Biological Station, Baroque House and Apollonio Palace. On the hill above the town is the biggest and most important church, the Church of Saint George, which offers a wonderful view. Piran’s town wall, narrow streets, fishermen’s nets, compact houses that rise up the slope and beautiful sea will give you the feeling of walking through a painting.
- Izola - At the end, we will visit Izola, which is known for its fishing history.
- Portoroz - Portorož, which literally means ‘Port of Roses’, is a popular tourist destination with hotels, casinos and beautiful beaches. Nearby are located the Sečovlje natural salt pans where salts are extracted from the pure sea water using interesting traditional methods.

Great Guide! - Our tour guide was great! He took us to see Piran, a beautiful old city! The tour included the curch, the squre& the harbour.
We had lunch and wine tasting in a quaint cafe. It was apparent that he loves the city.of Piran. A great tour!

Excellent Tour - Everything I'd Want - We were staying in Trieste, but our guide came there to pick us up. We had a wonderful tour. We had beautiful and interesting stops along the way. We discussed the salt pans, enjoyed the towns, stopped for a coffee, and had a little time for shopping. Our guide, Nermin, was very knowledgable and friendly. He was also very attentive to how far my mom could walk before we needed a little break. Once in Koper, we visited the company's office, where they had wine, bread, olive oils cheeses and cured meats for us to try. The samples were hearty and delicious. They also had a few small items for sale. They did not push us to buy those items, but when we asked about them, they indicated some people have a tour and no extra time for shopping, so they like to offer a few small souvenirs. I thought this was an awesome idea. It was really an excellent tour and I'd highly recommend booking with Koper Trips.

Great Experience! - We were picked up by DeJan right outside the port gates in Koper and we were only 7 people on this tour in a very nice and clean van with AC which was much appreciated.
We traveled on roads less traveled through Izola, Portoroz and spent some time in Piran with an hour free time before meeting with DeJan again. He told us a lot of little details about the area that you won't hear from a person not living there and we also drove on roads through olive groves and vineyards which was a very nice touch.
Slovenia is beautiful and green with clear and inviting ocean water. We ended the tour with a wine and olive oil tasting at the tour group's office in Koper after a short tour through the city.
It was nice to not just visit the port city but also some surrounding towns which gave a much better feel for the country in general. I definitely highly recommend this tour.

In the Hands of an Expert - We were picked up from our Trieste accomodation and treated to an unforgettable day visiting Koper, Izola, Portoroz and the lovely village of Piran. Bojan, our driver, didn’t just show us these places he walked through all sites with us and enthusiasticly explained the daily life and activities of the locals with some history included. Our tour concluded with a taste of local food and wine selection. We found the day to be interesting, relaxing and carried out in a leisurely fashion. Top marks! Highly recommended.

Very little dialogue - The guide gave very little dialogue about the area. With other guides we learn a lot, such as history, culture, geography and more. While the coast line was very attractive and worth seeing, The guide was a big disappointment.
