The mosque was first renovated in 1811, destroyed by fire in 1867, and rebuilt in 1868, losing its original form. Constructed of cut stone, it reflects classical Ottoman mosque architecture with a roof of 8 small domes. Its mihrab is stone, and its pulpit is wood.
