From Shkoder to Komani Lake & Shala River then to Valbona

Komani Lake - Every Monday and Thursday, the journey begins from Shkodra at 6:45 am, where the friendly team will greet travelers in front of the Rozafa Hotel. After boarding a comfortable van, the group will embark on a scenic 1.5-hour drive through breathtaking landscapes towards Komani. (Alternatively, travelers can join from Tirana with a 5:30 am departure for an additional 12€/person). Upon reaching Komani, there will be a short break for coffee and introductions with the guide and fellow travelers before boarding a charming boat for a 75-minute cruise across the tranquil waters of Komani Lake.

Shala River - The journey continues to the stunning Shala River, often referred to as “Albania’s Thailand” due to its crystal-clear waters and stunning surroundings. Here, visitors can relax on the beach or swim in the vibrant turquoise waters. For those seeking extra excitement, kayaking (10€/p.p) and ziplining (10€/p.p) are available. This segment concludes with a delicious traditional lunch.

Fierzë - Around 3:00 pm, the group will board the boat again for a journey to Fierza.

Valbona Valley National Park - A private car will be ready to transport the group through the picturesque town of Bajram Curri, offering stunning views of the Valbona River. Along the way, there will be stops to visit Xhema’s tranquil lake and the historic Water Millstone. As evening approaches, the group will arrive at a welcoming guesthouse, where a hearty dinner of local, homemade specialties will conclude this memorable day.

Hiking from Valbone to Theth

Theth National Park - Upon arrival in Theth, a private car will transport the group to Nderlysaj, where they can immerse themselves in the beauty of natural cave bathtubs and the Blu Eye, a strikingly hued natural fountain. Returning to Nderlysaj, the car will be ready to take the group back to the guesthouse. Here, they can unwind in private rooms before enjoying a communal dinner featuring fresh, traditional delights (all included).

Thethi Valley

Theth - The day begins with a delightful breakfast before setting off to explore the historic Isolation Tower and Grunas waterfall.

Shkoder - The tour concludes as the van awaits to transport the group back to Shkoder, arriving around 2:00 pm, with lunch in Shkoder included.
