Great walking / photo tour - Super interesting walking and photography tour through very interesting neighborhoods of Kolkata, away from the usual “monuments and buildings”itineraries. The guide was friendly, chatty and interesting, and very generous with his time. The whole thing was completely relaxed and friendly, as were the many people we met along the way.

Calcutta cultural review - Wonderful tour. Manjet showed us sights and told us things I had never thought you could see in Calcutta. Loved every minute of this tour. He kept in touch throughout the process.

Absolutely worthwhile walking tour in Kolkata - So far one of the best walking tours!! We had a wonderful time with Majit, who with his wonderful open, funny and infectiously friendly manner in best English could bring us closer to this city!! We learned an incredible amount and were able to see great corners, with him as a companion it was no problem really getting close to the population, taking pictures of them without feeling uncomfortable, always greeted with a smile. At the same time there was a little street food tour on top;) all in all absolutely worthwhile!! Thank you for the nice experience:)

Wonderful street photo tour! - This tour is an awesome way to learn about the many different cultures in Kolkata while capturing amazing street photos that one would probably miss without the help of a guide. I’ve been to India before and am accustomed to the chaotic streets, but this tour would be especially helpful for travelers who are new to India and still getting used to its rhythms. Manjit, my guide, was super cool, knowledgeable and helpful.

Two fantastic tours - I did two tours with Manjit - Cultural Kaleidoscope and Hooghly’s Flower Fest. Both tours were absolutely fantastic. Manjit knows all of the best places to go, was friendly, knowledgable and gave interesting background information on the places we visited and Kolkata in general. Manjit knew a lot of people in the areas we visited and I felt comfortable taking portrait photographs (something I very rarely do). Everyone we met on the tours were friendly too so it was easy to take some great photographs. I’ve come home with some photos that I’m really happy with. If I go back to Kolkata I would certainly do some more tours with Manjit.

A history of the Calcutta - Manjit is an absolutely fantastic guide. He's a history buff and gave us a unique historical perspective. As an Indian I learned a surprising amount about Calcutta while viewing it in the flesh. Loved the varied old places of worship that hinted at the melting pot nature of the Empire's most unlikely capital city. The little food stalls on the way were an added bonus.

Beautiful experience knowing Kolkata's history - We went for the Kaleidoscope walk and what a lovely experience it was. I live in the same area, but wasn't aware that these nooks and corners has such great stories hidden. Manjit's knowledge about Kolkata's history and his energetic oration of same made this an extremely fulfilling experience. Would highly recommend this for all those who has interest in knowing Kolkata's history better.

The best walking tour ever - While going over the pictures on my phone I realised that I have not reviewed the best walking tour that I have ever been on. What Manjit offered was more than a tour, a glimpse into the history of Bow Barracks captured in coloured visuals of the narrow lanes that change their nature with every turn. The experience included tasting the chai made at the base of a tandoor, the softest naan ever with Nihari, freshly made besan gathiya with mooli and mirchi. He was patient with a group of 4 women who took longer at every stop than expected. Obviously, we took around 4 hours to soak in Bow Barracks and Manjit was a gracious host. Loved the experience and recommend it to everyone who wants to see the religious and cultural tapestry of Bow Barracks.

A first-rate Walking Tour - I've been meaning to write this review for months. This was an excellent walking tour - informative, idiosyncratic, genuinely interesting - with a funny and passionate guide. A lovely street-level encounter with colonial Kolkata. Don't hesitate to sign up.
