Unique! Not to be missed - What an experience! Fantastic tour with Sabir, completely off the beaten track and perfect for understanding and seeing how fishermen live and work around Kochi. The four hours passed so fast. I could see the auction on the beach, unique as well as the making of wooden boats, all an art. All this under postcard landscapes. Really not to be missed, I advise to stay one more day in Kochi to do this tour, you will not regret it!

Fantastic morning trip! - We had a great time on the village tour in a tuk tuk with Sabeer. He was able to show us things we would not have accessed on our own. On the way to each village, slowed or stopped to allow us to take photos and took great photos of us when we were at the various places. He also gave us lots of information about the places and people that we visited. We had a go using the iron in the laundry, saw loads of eagles, herons, crows and dogs at the fisherman's village. We stood in the hut at the fish farm as the fisherman sorted the fresh catch and sold it to the locals, watching the prawns and fish try to jump off the table. We observed boat makers making fishing canoes, and they answered our questions. We saw how Coconut oil is made. We passed beautiful countryside with Chinese fishing nets and lakes and palm trees and saw cormorants fishing. Sabeer Was very helpful and friendly and stopped for us to get snacks/water, he also took us to the hospital so we could go to the toilet as there were no public toilets in the area.

Beautiful Fort Cochi❤️ - Very interesting tour of Fort Cochi. Abhi, the guide that took us around is really cute and smart! We found only a little 'expensive excursion compared to many made in the previous days, in other areas in India. It is still worth it!

Relaxed and Informative Way to Understand Kochi and Local Life. - We got to understand the local history of Kochi and current life of Malayali people which was not so clear in other tours. We were picked up at our hotel and later Mr. Biju joined us. He is a local driver and guide who knows his town history well. He also speaks good English with an understandable dialect and speed. We explored the nearby fishermen village and stopped by the seaside. We also met the local boat and coconut oil manufacturers. A comfortable ride with less walking and more information is something we appreciate. Mr. Biju made us feel welcome in Kochi and also ensured we were comfortable. It would be more interesting if we had a chance to meet a local family at their home and see some daily life and traditions, but it's just a suggestion. The tour is still the best one in Kochi.

An interesting & enjoyable day - We had an excellent day out with Sudheer. First we went to see the fishermen arrive back with their catch of the day, then we moved onto the market where the fish is sold and met his dad. After we went to a village to see the traditional craft of boat building & coir. We ended the tour in the backwaters meeting a lovely local family

We saw so many places we’d never have seen ourself and had a very special day. Shaji was amazing, so friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Top highlights were the spice market, fishing villages and launderette. We really went off the beaten track and had a brilliant day out. Will definitely recommend to others. Thank you!!!

Biju's tour - Biju brought me to many places in Cochin showing me a snippet the life of the people- for example we went to a spice market and a launderette. It was so interesting to see how the people lived and everyone was welcoming. He was very informative, telling the history of each place as we moved along. Really nice tour, if you have a day in fort Cochin I would advise this tour. Nice man and interesting tour.

Amazing Trip - A fantastic way to see the real Fort Kochi. The guides were really knowledgeable and friendly. They made multiple unscheduled stops to allow for photos. The boat building and mat making stops were exceptional Highly recommended

Thomas was a great driver. - We had an excellent day out in Kochi all be it frustrated by the repetitive checks by Indian Visa authorities on and off, leaving and returning but its their country. The most impressive things in Kochi was the 124 km tidal wall along the foreshore, seeing the town and admiring the cleanliness of the place and rubbish efforts even though its so old. Jewtown a special area is amazing and yes it is what it says it is and also we saw an amazing old church in Fort Kochi. Catholic churches are everywhere. Siju (Thomas) our driver was excellent and the tour was good value and in a comfortable car with air con. They arrived on time and got us back on time.
