• Chandiroor - The next small town after Aroor is Chandiroor. This town features several fish markets, coir yarn cottage industries, and scenic backwaters. The highway is lined with elegant residential buildings and small shops catering to the daily needs of the locals.
• Kuthiathodu - Another small town on the way to Alappuzha, Kuthiathodu is renowned for its backwaters and fish farms, particularly the Pokkali Farms, where rice and fish are alternately cultivated.
• Thuravoor Mahakshethram - Thuravoor is well-known for its grand temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple, showcasing traditional Kerala architecture, includes a large temple tank. It is an active place of worship, attracting many devotees and pilgrims throughout the day.
