Fascinating day on Backwaters - I greatly enjoyed the day boating on the Backwaters. A long way to drive (over an hour) but well worth it to get out of city. All the activities were enjoyable, - gliding along the Backwaters, learning about coir making, eating a good lunch, and being punted in an open canoe down a small river. Arya, our guide, was lovely and was very knowledgeable, especially about different trees and their fruits.

A top-of-the-charts tour of the backwaters! - No wonder this boat cruise through the Kerala backwaters is rated #1 amongst all the offerings. I fully concur with that ranking, having taken three boat tours in a week with different operators. Stanley seems to be an excellent operator - reliable, responsive and well-organized. He delivered all that he promised and more. The pickup, river cruise, village visit, lunch, canal cruise, spice garden visit and drop-off were quite well run and pleasing. Meera, our guide for the day, lives up to her billing as one of the best around. She is dedicated, has excellent communication skills, very solicitous of her tour members, and highly knowledgeable. I was quite impressed. I totally recommend this tour, and suggest you ask if you can be in Meera's tour group if possible.

Great trip - Very good value for money. Meera was an excellent guide. The gentlemen directing the boats were courteous and pleasant. The backwaters are so peaceful and cool compared to the frantic city. Vegetarian lunch was lovely.

Well thought-out excursion and good local food experience! - Fantastic tour, very laid back true to Keralan tranquility. Village touring was respectful towards locals and tied seamlessly into the itinerary. Good and abundant banana leaf lunch experience and fantastic snacks, there were also plenty of extras included. A well thought out excursion, do give extra time after for return transfer considering traffic. 5 stars fantastic!

Amazing kerala village n mannual boat ride - Meera was an amazing guide n host throughout our day trip through the back waters, villages coir production, spices n plants in kerala village murinjuphuza..Efficiently organised from first to last, this was a dream day out. It gave a tiny glimpse as to what the area must have been like before ' modern' and so called ' progress' took over. The backwaters were so peaceful you could hear the sound of the pole enter the water. Saw kingfishers and a bee eater. Lunch was good and the banana fritter as an afternoon snack was sublime. Our guide was great and immensely knowledgeable about the uses of various plants we saw, which included pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon trees and gave us a demonstration on how to make shampoo from hibiscus leaves. Excellent value for money and if you do nothing else, do this! Mannual boat made more relax n enjoy with greenery birds sounds n pleasant in mind n heart I appreciate meera presentation n taking care in whole trip n organiser Wilson tours too

nice reed punted boat trip - a slick operation, nice breakfast egg puff and tea on the way was welcome. Large reed coved boat ride was supper and the big waterway we traversed was impressive. Small boat trip on back water was not very impressive, just a short trip and not much wild life as it was not remote enough to see much but folks washing stone and back yards (rubbish in water was not great either!). County crafts demonstration was sweet but the spice garden tour was a bit lame and just seemed taged on to make up time!. over all not bad but not fantastic either!
