• Kobe - Begin your journey from Kobe with your tour guide in a private vehicle to the vibrant city of Osaka! Pickup is also available at the Kobe cruise port. The drive to Osaka takes approximately 45 minutes.

• Dotombori District - Stroll through Dotonbori street, famous for its massive billboards, numerous restaurants, and food stalls offering local delicacies like Osaka’s renowned Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki.
• Osaka Castle - Osaka Castle is one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks. This five-story castle, with a history spanning nearly 450 years, is a visually stunning masterpiece.
• Minami (Namba) - Situated around Namba Station, Minami (南, “South”) is one of Osaka’s two main city centers. Known for its entertainment options, it offers a wide range of dining and shopping experiences. The district is well-connected by three train companies, three subway lines, and a highway bus terminal. The other major city center is Kita (北, “North”), located around Osaka and Umeda Stations.
• Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine - Sumiyoshi Taisha (住吉大社, “Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine”) in Osaka is one of Japan’s oldest shrines, dating back to the 3rd century before Buddhism was introduced. It features a unique architectural style called Sumiyoshi-zukuri, which is purely Japanese and uninfluenced by the Asian mainland. Only two other shrine architectural styles, Shinmei-zukuri at the Ise Shrines and Taisha-zukuri at Izumo Taisha, are also considered purely Japanese.
• Shinsekai - Shinsekai, or the New World, is home to the Tsutenkaku Tower, often referred to as the Osaka Eiffel Tower, as well as kushikatsu and Billiken, the God of wealth and money. The area also features Spa World, a large bath complex with European and Asian themed floors (enjoyed naked and gender-separated).
• Umeda Sky Building - The Umeda Sky Building (梅田スカイビル) is a striking high-rise in Osaka’s Kita district, near Osaka and Umeda Stations. Also known as the “New Umeda City,” the 173-meter tall building consists of two towers connected by the “Floating Garden Observatory” on the 39th floor, offering stunning city views from its windows and open-air deck. The basement houses a restaurant floor designed to resemble a town from the early Showa Period, while most other floors are occupied by offices.
• Kuromon Market - Kuromon Market (黒門市場, Kuromon Ichiba) is a covered public market extending about 600 meters parallel to Sakaisujidori Street in Osaka’s Minami area. With around 150 shops selling fish, meat, produce, traditional sweets, and affordable clothing and homeware, the market dates back to the Edo Period and offers a lively atmosphere for shopping and sampling various street foods.
• The National Museum of Art, Osaka - The National Museum of Art, Osaka (NMAO) is an underground museum on Nakanoshima island in central Osaka, housing a significant art collection.
• Shitennoji - Shitennoji (四天王寺, Shitennōji) is one of Japan’s oldest temples and the first to be built by the state. Founded in 593 by Prince Shotoku, who supported the introduction of Buddhism to Japan, the temple’s buildings have been reconstructed multiple times to reflect the original 6th-century design. While the outer temple grounds are free to enter, there is a fee to access the inner precinct, Gokuraku-jodo Garden, and the treasure house. The inner precinct features a five-storied pagoda that visitors can enter and ascend, as well as the Main Hall (Kondo), where a statue of Kannon enshrines Prince Shotoku.
• Kobe - Return to Kobe in a private vehicle with your guide. The journey back takes about 45 minutes.
