Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens - Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be greeted with stunning vistas and the delightful fragrance of herbs and flowers. - Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens - Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be greeted with stunning vistas and the delightful fragrance of herbs and flowers. We’ll then leisurely stroll through one of Japan’s largest herb gardens, home to around 75,000 herbs and flowers from roughly 200 species that bloom year-round.
After enjoying the beauty of these gardens, we’ll head back to the ropeway station to prepare for our descent. Once we land, we’ll walk towards Kitano Ijinkan, where we can observe various architectural styles, including Western, modern, and traditional Japanese houses. Finally, we’ll arrive at the exotic Ijinkan street.

Kitano Ijinkan-gai - We’ll continue down the road until we reach a Starbucks in the Kitano area, recognized as one of Japan’s tangible cultural properties. This Starbucks is stunning both inside and out and is a popular spot for photos. Next, we’ll proceed to the Ikuta Shrine, the oldest shrine in the area and possibly one of the oldest in Japan.

Ikuta Shrine - Upon arriving at Ikuta Shrine, the oldest in the prefecture, you can experience water fortune telling at Ikuta Forest.

Chinatown (Nankinmachi) - We’ll have lunch at Kobe Chinatown Nankinmachi, where you can enjoy both restaurant dining and a variety of street food. If you finish early, take a short stroll around Motomachi Shopping Street next to Chinatown.

Itami Morohaku and Nada’s fresh sake - Itami and Nada Gogo, a famous brewing area born from sake - We’ll conclude our trip by returning to the port area to admire the vibrant night view. As a port city, Kobe is naturally close to the sea. Harbourland is where you can enjoy the beautiful illumination of the harbor, calming our minds after a long day of walking while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze.
