Une formidable expérience de snorkeling avec Chart et son équipage sur Koh Tao! - During our trip to Thailand, especially on the fabulous island of Koh Phangan, my family of five and I were looking to discover the best snorkeling spots around Koh Tao (which, by the way, will be our next destination next year!). After extensive research online and several chats with different companies via WhatsApp, I came across CocoTipAdventures, a local business run by the amazing Chart. From our very first exchanges, we felt heard and warmly welcomed. The offers were perfectly tailored to our needs and everything was communicated with complete transparency. In short, Chart quickly convinced us to book with him. Once we arrived, what a surprise! The transition from virtual to reality was even better than we had hoped! Chart and his crew welcomed us as soon as we arrived at the Koh Tao pier, brought us aboard his beautiful boat, and from that moment on, we were living a waking dream! He took us to stunning spots, always making sure to avoid overly touristy areas. The lunch prepared by his wife was absolutely delicious, and we had great conversations throughout the day (Chart knows his island very well — and so does his son, by the way!). In short, beyond Chart’s professional and personal qualities, I entrusted him with my family for the day and we were all absolutely delighted. Chart, a huge thank you! If we come back next year, stopping by to see you will be a must!

I would do this trip over and over. - I loved this trip. There were so many tiny details that made it more fun than many day trips I’ve been on… all the way from cupholders to solar lights that came on in the evening. The guide is very knowledgeable about where to go, when to go and how to avoid the crowds. We found some amazing reefs and turtles and even a pretty good sized black tip shark.

Over expectations – an unforgettable experience - The feeling that he and his crew thought of every little thing from the moment they took us from the hotel to the moment we got back. He took us to corals where we were alone and Helena felt that he knew each of them personally and the fish came to meet him;) We saw an endless number of kinds of fish, beautiful corals, sharks and giant animals. Yeah, it was twice as cheap a few days ago, but it didn't seem to make it easy to snorkle with another company with a very high rating. There we were 50 people in the boat, no personal attitude, no pinnock, the humming, along with other boats that came with us to the same places.

What a wonderful day! - Chart gave us an unforgettable day that we will remember for years. Our bout made 5 wonderful stops around the entire island and we snorkeled with black tip reef sharks and giant turtles. Both meals were delicious and we got, besides bottles of water, even a cold Thai tea + coconut water + a delicious cocktail. We had the time of our lives!

The boat trip is strongly recommended. - The trip was superb, with good food, good experiences and not least good space on the boat, as they had a maximum number. The boat owner was very service-minded. It can definitely be recommended.

Small Group Tour Made All The Difference! - We went on a snorkeling trip around Koh Tao yesterday and it was honestly such a good experience. The best part was that it’s a big boat, but it’s only for a small group. We actually ended up being the only people on board, so it felt like a private tour, which was amazing. Even if it had been full, the max is 20 people, and it still would’ve felt really comfortable because the boat is as big as the ones we saw with like 40+ people. We saw so many other boats packed with people and felt so lucky to be on this one instead. Because the group is small, we had a bit of flexibility with where we went and how long we stayed in each spot. There were five snorkeling stops in total, so you definitely get a lot of time in the water. We also saw that other tours didn’t give flippers and this one did which is crucial for getting to dive down deeper. After each stop, they gave us something like a snack, a drink, or lunch, and everything was really tasty. The food was made fresh that morning by the guide’s wife, and the drinks were things like Thai tea or fresh coconuts, which felt like such a treat after being in the water. The guide (Chart) was great. He was super friendly and you could tell he really cared about the experience. There were a few people on board helping out, and they were always keeping an eye on everyone during the snorkels. Someone would be at the front and someone at the back to make sure everyone was okay, which made it feel really safe. The snorkeling itself was beautiful. The guide timed the stops really well so we weren’t stuck in the middle of big groups or waiting behind other boats. Sometimes we’d go to slightly different spots or just arrive a bit later or earlier than the others, and it made a big difference. The boat itself is also just really nice. There’s a chill-out area on the top deck with loungers, and it felt a lot more relaxed than other tours we passed. Overall, we were really happy with the whole day and would definitely recommend it if you’re thinking of doing a snorkeling trip in Koh Tao.

The best snorkling tour on Koh Tao - This is the best trip you can find! This independent operator is able to be really flexible, not as ridged as other tours and helping you see the best sea life. We were lucky enough to see 3 beautiful sea turtles and a stunning sunset with no other boats around. The food, coconuts and sunset cocktails were really special. Chart the owner and guide is friendly and know and I would highly recommend using Cocotip!
