Nice experience - It was very nice. We were alone on a boat (5 persons), had plenty of time on a pig island and at some snorkeling point, everyone was very friendly. Pickup from hotel and back as promised. Nice experience. Note that pigs are not so cute and friendly, approach them with caution.

Great trip to pig island - This trip was amazing! Being in our own group definitely was a plus. We were able to get out to the island before it got busy, and chose when we left. The pigs seem healthy and well taken care of! There were also puppies which was a bonus. The snorkeling was fun as well, the water wasn’t super clear but you could see about four feet which was enough to see the coral and some fish. Overall I would recommend this trip.

Recommended tourist attraction - The organization was very good and everything worked out wonderfully. The snorkeling was nice but too complicated for our five-year-old. Of course, that's not the organizer's fault. :) Pig Island was a very special experience. It is and remains a tourist attraction and that's how it feels. Nevertheless, the visit is recommended.

Cute pigs, but only feed them from the plate! - It is very nice to sail to the island and see the pigs. We were the second group, so it was still very quiet. The animals look well cared for and satisfied. You can also feed them, a bag of food costs 50 baht. You will receive a sign with it. Use this plate too, although there is a great temptation to feed them by hand. Our son was (accidentally) bitten on his finger, which required a visit to the hospital (and four more times after that due to the necessary rabies vaccination). It was not the pig's fault that this went wrong, but a more urgent warning to only feed from the plate would have been nice. We have received good help.

An 'okay' experience - It wasn't the best of starts when the pickup time was changed to an hour earlier on the day, so having just sat down to breakfast we got a message that our pick up driver was here. Whizzing across the sea on the longtail boat was ok, although constant sea spray in the face prevented a relaxing view. The snorkelling was good with a variety of interesting fish. I'd especially looked forward to that part, so was s great 45 minutes. Moving onto pig island, it was nice to see and feed the pigs, although nothing much else to do there for the hour to be fair. We've done some fabulous trips whilst in Koh Samui, but in hindsight i'd book a different snorkelling based trip as that was the highlight part for me. We got back, don't know why the lady took our photo at the start on the boat as nothing received or heard since. I left a tip with the non-english speaking boat captain; but slightly disappointed he just took it from me without any acknowledgment or even a smile (very unlike anyone else). Overall, would rate as 'okay'.

Love Pig Island but not the snorkeling - The pig island itself is very nice to visit at afternoon timing, guess there is not much of people there at this timing. The sand is white and very nice to take lot photos. The pigs are there, lot big and small one, very cute and fun to feed them. Snorkeling point was not good, water not clear perhaps the timing issue, manage to saw some fish but visibility is very low or else it could be quite ok.

The absolute epitome of unstainable tourism - The only reason this is getting two stars is because the pigs appear to be healthy and well fed. Otherwise, avoid. Tourism is a key industry for Thailand, but so many stakeholders don't care about doing it sustainability. The island is absolutely filthy. Garbage and plastic everywhere. No waste management or recycling. No running water. The coral reef they take everyone to is dead. I'll give the Philippines' Duterte some credit. They shut down Boracay because of the environmental damage from over tourism and told them to get their act together. Thailand is ruled by a literal military junta, so why don't they do the same?

Avoid at all costs - An awful experience. We snorkelled first and it was underwhelming, too many boats, who couldn’t care less that their anchors were hooked into coral. No fish and coral was dead. Too many tourists standing on what coral was left. Arrived at pig island and was hassled to pay an extra 50 baht per person to be on the island. It was filthy, full of litter, certainly not what you expect from an island experience. We left after 30 minutes as it was so depressing, I honestly don’t know why anyone would rate this a five star, it was a waste of an afternoon and left me feeling very sad. Avoid at all costs.
