A magic trip in a magic lagoon - The weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed our leisurely tour of the lagoon. The staff were very helpful and the boat is an historic treasure. A lovely way to see Knysna.

Magic Lagoon cruise - The day of our trip it was raining so after a quick phone call we rearranged for two days later when the sun was shining. We had a wonderful trip it was very informative and all our questions were answered

A Magic Experience - We were lucky enough to have the trip to ourselves and what a wonderful experience! We checked in with the very friendly staff (who double as mooring hands!) bought a bottle of bubbly and climbed aboard. Our skipper Philip was charming and knowledgeable about Knysna, the lagoon and its environs. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour, excellent customer service - We had a wonderful full experience on our boat tour. Firstly, Peter kindly accommodated us by rearranging our tour time last minute so that we could catch the sunny weather. All the staff were wonderful and kind, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Peter and his team were also incredibly kind by gifting us a non-alcoholic bottle of bubbly when they found out we are on our honeymoon and babymoon expecting our first baby! We will definitely be back again one day with the little one.

Expensive for what we experienced. - We got off to a bad start when the young skipper suggested we sit at the back of the boat - as it was better for him! He wouldn’t have to talk so loudly, he explained. How about a small mic? Aside from that - and while he was perfectly nice - he didn’t ask anything about his four passengers, to let us get to know one another and, while he did his best, was unable to answer a lot of our questions. We got the feeling this was not his regular job, so we’d spent quite a lot of money on a 1hr 15m boat ride where we saw no wildlife, and nothing we hadn’t already seen from being on land. We booked on the strength of the excellent reviews but for us, Unfortunately it wasn’t magical at all, especially for the price (we paid much the same for 2-3 hour game drives), and we were rather disappointed.
