Fabulous day in Crete - What an amazing day. Giorgos was a fabulous tour guide/driver and not only took us to the designated sights but shared much of the culture and life in Crete. Tailored day to our interests. Highly recommend him to any tour group.

great experience - The tour was smooth, professional, and overall a great experience. However, we were expecting our guide to accompany us inside the Knossos Archaeological Site, but instead, we had to hire a separate guide at the entrance. This was a bit disappointing given how historically rich and complex Knossos is—being the heart of the ancient Minoan civilization and linked to the myth of the Minotaur. That said, the rest of the tour was well-paced and enjoyable. We appreciated the comfort and organization. Recommended, but be aware you may need an extra guide at Knossos.

Thank you George for a wonderful day! - We had a wonderful time with George. We drove through the mountains, via olive groves and vineyards to Knossos Palace. George introduced us to a guide for the Palace, Maria, who was excellent. Throughout the tour George informed us of everything from how olive oil is made to the occupations by the Venetians and Turks. The Cathedral of St Minas was utterly spectacular and after visiting the Castello George showed us some restaurants with a view that also served delicious food. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

Must do! - Wonderful way to see so much and learn about Crete. Katarina had so much to share about the cultural and life on the island. She took us to an amazing taverna by Kournas Lake. She also took us to a little shop in Rethymo to sample olive oil, cheese and wine. Of course we had to buy some to being home. You won't be disappointed!

A wonderful private tour around the Heraklion City area! - What a great day! George was an amazing tour guide. It felt like we were his family visiting from out of town. He made sure we saw all the important historical sites and got us mountain tea, olives and a popular Greek dessert called bougatsa . We were asking about olive oil production on the island so he made arrangements to take us to a family farm. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant near the waterfront that George recommended. It was the best meal of our trip. I don't write a lot of reviews but felt compelled to share this experience because it made our stop on Crete so special.

Very please with the tour and our driver! - This was a great tour with a knowledgeable driver, Petros! If you get him, you will be pleased. We feel like we really saw the highlights of Heraklion on a private tour that lasted most of the day. My wife and I visited far more places than the cruise ship excursions. And we weren’t herded like the they do on the cruise ship excursions, either. At the ancient Knossos Palace, you have the option of hiring a licensed guide at the gate for a private or semi-private tour. We did this for a private tour and recommend it. We saw the whole place in 90 minutes and learned a lot, able to ask all the questions we wanted and avoid the crowds.

I would do it over again , loved it - George was outstanding, gave us a grand tour of the city of Heraklion . we talked about history and tradition as well as the importance of family. he gave us a persona perspective of the life in the island that would not forget.

Lovely experience to see Knossos and Heraklion - Lovely day out would recommend. Our driver and guide George was excellent and informative. Lovely car and a lovely place recommended for lunch. Overall a great trip.
