Absolutely LOVED it!! Highly recommend - Definitely one of the best tours I’ve ever been on and so so worth it!! We did the Knossos shared tour. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed by our tour guide and driver. Our guide on the trip, Christine, presented so much info about Cretan history and culture on the ride over and back from Knossos, and she is very kind and passionate about sharing this knowledge and appreciation with us. She also was so thoughtful to bring lots of cold water for us and some local food samples to try as well. At Knossos, our tour guide there was incredibly knowledgeable and the small group made it very easy to follow along and ask questions. I learned so much!! Definitely ended the day with a newfound appreciation of Knossos and Heraklion, and of Crete in general. If you’re thinking about going to Knossos at all, this is an absolute must do!!

10/10 experience from Chania to Knossos - must book! - 10/10 experience - book this tour!!! I booked the Knossos/Heraklion only tour two days before the visit, and it was absolutely perfect - especially as a solo traveller. As soon as I had booked, I had instant communication from Christine via WhatsApp to confirm the trip and organise pick up. The minibus picked us up from a stop very close to the hotel so that was really convenient and Christine ensured I knew exactly where to find the bus. The bus picked us up at 7:50am exactly, and then there was a two hour drive to Knossos. During this time Christine provided us excellent information about Crete and Knossos (and there was some nap time on the bus!) There was a stop one hour into the drive to use the restroom and buy a coffee, but I would advise bringing snacks and water for yourself as it’s a long day. There were only about 10 people in total so it was a really good sized group - everyone was friendly, and you could chat to people on the tour if you were solo. The atmosphere was chill but engaged. As it was international museum day, site entrance was free but you will usually have to pay seperately for this. We had an excellent tour guide at the site - shout out to Thalia, who showed us around Knossos with a really deep background knowledge. This took around 2 hours. Note that the whole tour is done with a guide so there is not much time to wander off solo in this part of the tour. Then we drove a short distance to the Museum and had free time to check out the Museum and/or wander around Heraklion for lunch or shopping for approx 2.5 hours before driving home. I spent an hour at the museum, and one hour wandering the street market and getting some lunch in Heraklion, but you could spend the entire time at the museum and get something to eat the the Musueum cafe if you wanted more museum time. We left at 7:50am and arrived back by 6pm - it was a long day but really well organised, Christine and Thanos (driver) were wonderful and accommodating the entire time, and we were provided lots of Greek snacks and water on the bus. I did the trip solo and I would recommend it for solo travellers as well as groups - I would absolutely book a tour with Christine the next time I am back in Crete. Thank you for an excellent day!

Highly Recommend Knossos Experience - Excellent experience and highly recommended. Communication was outstanding from booking to confirmation to post-trip feedback. Christine, the on-bus guide made the drive fun and informative and she was super helpful throughout the entire experience. The guide who showed us around Knossos was top-notch. She definitely stood out from all the other guides there, with her engaging delivery. We have considerable experience with similar tours to this and this was as good as they come based on our experience. Be sure to have some Euro on hand for a well-deserved gratuity.

Amazing trip to Knossos & the Heraklion archaeological museum, highly recommend - My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Knossos & the Heraklion archaeological museum. Our guide Christina was very communicative and helpful and kept us entertained on the long bus journey, we learned lots about the history of Crete and Cretan culture & customs which was very interesting, with Christina also pointing out things along the way such as the American military base and the white mountains. We really appreciated having a tour guide at Knossos as we were able to skip the long queues for tickets and understand what we were looking at throughout the site. We were also provided with refreshments and snacks throughout the trip which was a nice bonus. The museum is definitely one of the most impressive museums we have ever been to & we were very fortunate to have been able to visit. We got to explore Heraklion city a little too which was lovely. Overall we would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Knossos & the museum! :)

Amazing! - Christine and Thanos ran an amazing excursion to Knossos Palace and Heraklion. From the moment I booked the tour, Christine was communicative and helpful. My husband and I wanted to leave from Heraklion city centre to go the Heraklion airport rather than travel back to Chania and they were very accomodating. 10/10 would recommend!

The best way to see Knossos! Comfortable and efficient 😄 - This was honestly one of the best full day tours I had in Crete. I have a fear of long bus trips but the two hours going in the mini bus, I was completely entertained by Christine, information about with Cretan culture and information about Cretan mythology. Full ac and wifi too. We were a small group of about 12 people. At Knossos, we had an excellent guide who truly was very knowledgeable and made sure that we had shade when possible. We got to visit the Archeological Museum (lots of interesting things to see) and had the option of going on a walking tour of with Christine in Heralkion or on our own; we chose the second option and had time for lunch. We supplied with cold bottles of water by our wonderful driver and even Cretan sweet cheese pies. On our way back on the bus, we even learn some Cretan phrases. Christine was excellent from the time I booked - confirming twice the pickup point via email to the tour itself - knowledgeable and very helpful. If you want to actually appreciate Knossos, go on this tour😁

I cannot recommend this tour enough. - Love this tour operator. Christine's communication with us, from booking to pick up, was exceptional. The guided tour was well-paced and educational, as was the walk through the city. Our teenage children are still raving about what they learned and saw at the Palace of Knossos; it was their favorite part of our trip to Crete.
