We’ll embark on a visit to a family-owned winery situated in the Heraklion region, tour the winery’s cellar, get insights on the wine-making process, and sample up to 5 diverse local varieties. An excursion to a family-owned olive mill is next on the list, where we’ll tour the olive grove, the mill itself, and taste the olive oil. Lastly, we’ll maneuver to a quaint village and to a secret location, usually hidden from the public eye, to delve into Raki Distillation.
To wrap up the tour, we’ll hop into our 4WD SUV and ascend to the peak at 850 meters, to watch the colors of the Cretan farmlands transforming under the spell of Mother Earth.
