Enjoyed the visit - Our visit was not planned but as it was included with the Klis Fortress entrance ticket, we gave it a go and enjoyed it. We were individual visitors but tagged along with an organised group's 30 minute tour through the factory, gardens and museum, the latter of which was very interesting - I'll never evaluate olive oil in the same way again! Not being on a formal tour meant we could take our time. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the tour finishes at their shop - I guess this is the main reason they host visitors - where you can buy the products. There's no obligation but we were persuaded by a couple of items and if you have an hour to spare and are interested in flora and food, I'd suggest giving it a go.

Hidden gem - We hadn’t even heard of the museum before visiting Kliss fortress and getting entry included in the ticket. Such a great find and worth visiting for anyone who loves food! Starting with a tour and visit to their small museum you finish up in the shop which has lots of lovely products to sample and buy. We visited the restaurant which has set menus showcasing their own produce which was fabulous and then went back to wander through the gardens and then to the shop. There are toilets and free parking on site.

Impressive, beautiful products - Impressive and beautiful products. The large garden around it was also inspiring. Bought some nice products. Guided tour was pleasant and very friendly guide. The only downside was that we couldn't order anything afterwards. They said they were now closed. It was only 3:15 p.m. and on the door is the opening hours until at least 4:30 p.m. Guide about that still addressed but could not mean anything, the times have recently been adjusted. May be so but then they also have to adjust it. Unprofessional!!!

Worth a visit if you go to Klis - We arrived and joined a tour of the museum. The guide was very informative and we learned about the work they do there. They make a lot of jams, oils and more and so the shop was busy! You could try before you bought and the honey with strawberries was amazing. The garden was lovely and very nicely laid out with lots of lavender - and bees, of course! We tasted the oils but did not have an educational tasting..... Sadly, the restaurant was closed due to an emergency, but we enjoyed the visit.

Interesting tour - Interesting place but the main emphasis is getting you to purchase their products. Tour is great for learning about the industry.

Not a museum but a visit to an oil Enterprise selling on site - If you are looking for a real immersion in the olive oil manufacturing process, this tour may not fully meet your expectations. The Enterprise's main objective is clearly focused on the local production and sale of quality products. While the guided tour (in quick English) provides an overview of the process, it proceeds at a fairly rapid pace, leaving little room for further technical details. The guide seems focused on one specific goal: to get you quickly to the shop where the products are offered for sale. That said, if your goal is to briefly discover the manufacturing process and leave with quality local products, this tour will be perfectly adapted. In short, this is not an Olive Museum, but rather a Commercial Enterprise that values its products. For lovers of in-depth cultural discoveries, this may seem limited, but for local product enthusiasts, the experience remains interesting. ⸻
