Fantastic Forest Snowshoe Adventure - My husband and I were delighted to have 2 snowshoe hikes with Anders. Our first afternoon we went on the Snowshoe Up a Mountain and then the next morning went on the Snowshoe Through the Forest. We had a wonderful experience both times. Anders is a wonderful guide; he is friendly, informative and enthusiastic and readily engages with his new friends and takes expert care of them. The snowshoe equipment was of high quality and poles provided as needed (especially good on the mountain climb and descent). Anders is attentive and makes sure everyone is doing well and enjoying the trip. He is gregarious and full of good stories and information about the area, the flora and fauna, as well as life in Sweden or any questions folks had. The traditional homemade cookies and hot berry juice were great treats to share on the outings. If we have the opportunity to return we would love to enjoy the home dinner experience at his and his wife’s home and/or stay at their Airbnb. We felt not just like customers, but also felt like we have a new Swedish friend! Thank you so much, Anders!

Great experience in the snow - Andris was an interesting guide and explained about the wildlife and fauna in the forest. We also saw and learned about stratospheric polar clouds and their impact on the ozone layer. It was great to try out snowshoes and the home made biscuits with hot juice made from Cloudberries/Lingonberries was a delicious snack by the fire half way through. Beautiful scenery and interesting to hear about the mine and how Kiruna came to be and what is happening now.

Best experience - We walked a beautiful path surrounded by the crisp, frosty winter forrest that also gave us views of the distant, surrounding mountains and the glowing sky. The tempo was calm but enough to keep us warm. We enjoyed a break watching the "winter sun" set, while the host provided us with homemade cookies and hot blackberry drinks at an open fire. One of our best and most memorable activities during our stay in Kiruna, due to the host friendliness, knowledge of the local environment and animals, as well as storytelling.

Magic of a snowy forest with a great guide! - Lovely and easy hike in the middle of nature! The snowy forest was beautiful and peaceful, even though we weren’t lucky enough to spot animals. Anders is such an enthusiastic and cheerful guide, with plenty of knowledge on the area and the local wildlife. Definitely a recommended experience!

Hero on a snow lite day! - A warm week in Kiruna didn't make it conducive for snow shoes, but nonetheless Anders made it an enjoyable hike for all with what he had at his disposal. Thanks for sharing all your stories and experience in Lapland!

Excellent experience and very informative. - Anders was an excellent guide through the Forest, his knowledge of both nature and wildlife was fascinating. He could point out all the different animal tracks in the snow and speculate on their behaviour too. Likewise, his knowledge of the natural environment we were in was equally fascinating on the tree plantation, the undergrowth and indeed Kiruna itself. I came away not only enjoying the snowshoe walk (which was not arduous) itself but also so much more informed.
