Great craic - A good amount of walking - but an awesome time!! True beauty and an amazing carriage ride and boat ride. My family and I had a great time. Would definitely recommend - we did after ring of Kerry and dingle peninsula tour. Great change up.

Highlight of our trip to Ireland - Our group of 4 absolutely loved our ride through the Gap of Dunloe. The weather wasn't ideal, but the tour was very memorable with absolutely stunning views! The boat ride through Killarney Lakes was relaxing and our guide shared a lot of good history and stories about the area. We would highly recommend this experience, and it's a highlight of our trip!

Don’t pass this one up! - It was a combination of adventures in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The guides were full of information that they gave us while either tending to the horse or guiding the boat with skill. We had such an amazing day.

Personalized, epic, and beautiful tour! - I could not be more pleased with this tour! My family and I did three different tours- Gap of Dunlap, Lakes of Killarney Boat Tour, and High Tea- HIGHLY recommend and LOVED all three!! Big shoutouts to Laura and Louise for going above and beyond to help me coordinate our experience from the US, and to our guide Patrick- they treat every guest (and they have 1000s a day) like family! This experience truly exceeded all expectations, and THE VIEWS were incredible!!

Beautiful scenery, amazing guides, perfect day!! - The BEST day in Ireland!! Can't say enough about this experience. Laura met us right on time, and handed us over to Paddy our jaunting car driver (whose horse was also named Paddy!). We had breathtaking views of the Gap of Dunloe, along with Paddy's humor and wealth of information. We had a great lunch at Lord Brandon's Cottage, after which we went with Rory for our boat tour. It was so beautiful and we learned so much about the area. We could not stop raving about all the gorgeous scenery and the kindness, humor, and graciousness of all of our guides. We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids age 4 and 9, and 1 grandma in her 70s), and EVERYONE had an amazing time. Don't think twice, just book this tour!!

Unbelievably Beautiful Views!! - The views going up through the gap were magnificent! The cart ride was a little rough, 4 people and the driver in that litte cart (but better than walking the whole way!) and our driver didn't have a lot to say, which was a little disappointing. Other reviews said they loved their cart driver's stories. The boat ride back across the lake was beautiful as well, and our boat driver was very talkative and gave us lots of information/history about the lake and the environment around it. The tour was well organized with a quick snack at the top before we returned. I would definitely recommend this company!

Fantastic views that felt very rushed - This was an incredible once in a lifetime experience for us. The carriage isn't large at all. You are shoved in knee to knee with other folks on the tour. The other jaunting tours we viewed online and saw in person had lots of room whereas these were tiny in comparison. They are uncovered so if it's raining (hello it's gonna rain in Ireland) you are exposed directly to the elements. When we arrived our "guide" was apparently running a bit behind and was just tacking up the horse. He dumped the water out of the carriage and told us to get in. The seats were soaked and he made no attempt to try and at least dry them a bit. The "guide" didn't introduce himself, he was obviously frustrated from running late and was extremely gruff. Once we started the trip he jumped in the carriage and off we went. The views were magical. The Gap of Dunloe truly was magnificent and I absolutely suggest seeing it! It would have been so much better had our "guide" talked about things along the way rather than fart loudly, spit continually, and hock up phlegm. We passed up every single other carriage on the "tour" as he gave the horse free reign to trot. When we reached the steepest point all of us had to get out and let the horse have a break. I didn't mind this part as it was a break out of the cramped carriage. (Just as described on the website...If you have the slightest mobility issues do NOT do this tour.) After we climbed back in, as the now lead carriage, he still didn't slow down as we arrived nearly fifteen minutes before all the other carriages on our tour. All in all this ride was breathtakingly beautiful to see and experience. (Minus the gas machine) The place where you get lunch has no wifi (so no mobile payments) and takes only cash. Be ready for that. The boat ride back was lovely. Our guide was fantastic and talked to us about points of interest along the way. The boat was quite a large step up and down to get in so again, any slight mobility issues be aware of this. I would absolutely do this one again and hope for a different "guide". We asked other folks if they were hurried as well and they said absolutely not. Their guide talked and was super friendly.

Pricey and unique....but take note - The day was filled with high expectations. When we arrived at the Gap of Dunloe for the trap and pony portion of the trip, our pony driver was less than friendly. He refused to take a picture of us! He ordered us out of the trap half way of and we had to walk more than a half mile uphill before we could get back in!! He did not offer any conversation about the history what we were seeing and when asked questions, it was with a word and it was simply.."no". We then were left for almost 2 hours at the end point of that portion before we had another very long walk to the boat. The boat driver was hoghly entertaining and offered lots of interesting history about the gap and the lakes, along with some hilarious blarney!! He was a true Irishman through and through snd we enjoyed him tremendously! We even got stuck and had to get "rescued". If you have any mobilty issues at all, this is not a trip for you. Scenery was gorgeous but the trip was very expensive for what we got. The two things we did were very expensive at almost $800 for 4 people.
