ARRIVAL \n\nAltezza Travel - Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet an Altezza Travel representative, and transfer to the hotel under the rate. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening, there will be a briefing with our managers, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the climb. \n\nNote: Check-in starts at 2:00 PM.

- Lunch and dinner in the hotel. The price in the hotel includes breakfast only. Average price for lunch or dinner is USD 15 per person.

Additional Information
Embark on this epic 6-day Kilimanjaro Lemosho hiking adventure and enjoy thrilling scenic vistas and pristine wildlife on the way to the peak of Africa. This trail would be a great choice for regular hikers or fit travelers who are up to a challenge. Previous high-altitude experience would help to acclimate smoothly but is not mandatory. You will cross several climatic zones (from heath on Shira Plateau to Arctic desert in the summit area), each different, unique and captivating. Our professional climbing crews will take care of your safety and comfort. Overnight stays are in our walk-in tents (designed by us and customized for Kilimanjaro), the “kitchen” team will surprise you with their cooking skills, and the porters will carry all equipment. The guides will be leading your way, excitedly sharing their knowledge of this amazing Mount. Pre and post-climb accommodation (included) will be in a hotel in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Airport transfers included.

Amazing Lemosho hike with Altezza - Amazing week trekking the Lemosho trail and summiting Uhuru! The whole Altezza team worked so hard to make us feel welcome and help us succeed - in particular Osman singing and chanting to keep us motivated, Hance sharing interesting facts and always keeping us safe, and Isreal always having a smile and rescuing my frozen toes at the summit!! My no.1 tip is to put hand warmers in your boots! 2 pairs of warm walking socks were not enough!! Asante sana!!

Incredible trip, Incredible Guides, Incredible Porters! - We’ve just come down from the mountain and had an incredible 6 day climb and descent. Some very tough days but so worth it. The Altezza crew from the booking team, to the guides and the porters were incredible. So helpful and reliable. We would not have made it up the mountain without the hard work of the guides and porters - they assisted at every point and made the experience truly unforgettable. Our group was led by Frank, Hance, Lema, Ausman, Israel and Jonas - each of them were a source of comfort and grounding when we all felt unsteady at various times. Thank you so much!

Amazing Experience! Recommend Altezza to everyone! - The guides were amazing! Frank, Hance, Lema, Israel, Jonas, and Othman did absolutely everything in their power to make sure that we had a flawless trek and everything went smoothly. I cannot speak highly enough of them! The guides were very adamant that Altezza is the best trekking company around. Customer service was amazing and helped me sort out my trek when my flights were all messed up. Pole pole!

Exceptional Expedition, Outstanding Crew - Stellar company throughout the entire experience! Trip management was amazing at helping accommodate our unforseen travel issues. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful. Our guides, Emmanuel & Innocent, provided an unforgettable expedition experience. They coached and supported us the entire way. They pointed out local plants and animals and shared the regions history. They are simply the best. Our camp crew provided us with everything we needed to prepare for a successful summit. The food was absolutely fantastic and fueled us every day. Each person played a key role in us summiting Mt Kilimanjaro, thank you Altezza.

Kilimanjaro experience - The trip was so amazing. The whole team was wonderful. Three yummy food cooked by chef Raymond every day. Our chief guide Athumani Omary Goigoi and assistant guide Aniny Rangya Lema are great and experienced. They have a lots of knowledge and help me to the top of the Kilimanjaro peak. Thanks our support ting team and Altezza travel Agency .

Hiking expedition with flawless execution - My wife and I (both in our late 60's, and with solid hiking credentials) did the Lemosho Route climb with the high altitude drop-off point.
Overall, we found the day-to-day hiking challenging, but doable. Along the way, the guides and supporting porters (close to 60 in total) did an excellent job of carrying and assembling our tents and equipment to make camp life more comfortable. I'd classify our food as "getting the job done." Our guides were knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, helpful and joyful.
Our journey, from being picked up and dropped off at the airport by Altezza drivers to our lodgings at several hotels (including a 2 day Altezza safari added on at the end) was without a single issue.
On summit day you will have to dig deeper physically and mentally more than you ever have ever before. There is nothing easy about climbing to the summit and back down. My wife made it to the top and I had to turn around.
People say climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro is a life changing event, and I agree. If you choose this adventure, Altezza is a great tour company to work with.

Experience of a lifetime - Successfully reaching Uhuru Peak was an unforgettable experience, made even more remarkable by the breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro's diverse landscapes. I would especially like to commend our exceptional guides, Richard and Agrey, along with our dedicated server, Paulo. Their attentiveness to detail and unwavering commitment to our group's safety truly made this journey special. I cannot imagine a more experienced and trustworthy team for such an expedition.

Kilimajaro trek - lemosho route - The organisation and the crew was perfect.
We had 15 people with us between, guides, pprter, chef and waiter.
It was incredible what the chef was able to cook even at 4600m.
The guides and the crew were always able to make us feeling good and included, and thanks to them also the difficult moments were less hard.

Altezza review - I had an amazing time being guided by altezza. The guides and team were incredible and beat all expectations going into this adventure. They supported me and were so incredibly informational with fun facts about the mountain and history of it. Especially Bosco, he had a lot of fun information to share about the mountain and such.
