Jerry was great at... - Jerry was great at showing me the city and explaining the history of the country. Although Kigali is quite safe and small and you could do it by yourself, is nice to have someone talking about the points

Brilliant Walking Tour of Kigali with Jeremiah - I had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Kigali on foot with our guide, Jeremiah. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, engaging and full of insight. Jeremiah clearly knows the city like the back of his hand and shared so much interesting history, local knowledge and personal stories that really brought Kigali to life. We wandered through vibrant neighbourhoods, visited key landmarks and even stopped at a few hidden gems I never would have found on my own. What made the tour so memorable was Jeremiah’s warm and welcoming nature – he made everyone feel at ease and answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm. If you're visiting Kigali and want to get a real feel for the city, I honestly can't recommend Jeremiah and this walking tour enough. A top-notch guide and a truly enjoyable way to discover the heart of Rwanda’s capital.

A very lovely tour - We really enjoyed our tour with Jerry. We learned a lot about the country and city and the history. I felt that the tour was set up and organized very thoughtfully and we covered a lot. We went to the place where the prime minister and 10 peace keepers were murdered on the day that started the genocide. It was very informational and a beautiful memorial to honor them and allow us to pay our respects. I’m so glad that was included. Another highlight was going to the Nyamirambo Women’s Center. It’s a place run by women for women and their store is filled with exquisite items of all kind. In my entire 2 weeks in East Africa that center by far had the highest quality made items that you could see were made with such detail and intention. We also went to the car free zone for a coffee and ended on a really nice relaxing note. Also shout out to Jerry for providing WiFi on the tour which I have never seen before and found as a really nice touch!

Great tour! - I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get out on foot and experience Kigali. Jerry truly made the difference regarding the quality of the tour. He had a great depth of knowledge about Kigali. He was extremely patient while answering questions. Also, Jerry brings a very warm, positive, and welcoming approach. On this tour we experienced several different neighborhoods. The pace of the tour moved well; however if you aren’t ready to climb a few hills - you might want to pass. I personally loved all the walking, but could see how it might be challenging for some. We walked over 4 miles! Also, I liked that we weren’t rushed to meet a specific agenda/timing. Great tour, so glad I took it!

Enjoyable and informative tour - What a great way to get an appreciation of Kigali and its people. Jerry was warm and welcoming and a wonderful tour leader. The information he provided, together with our discussions along the way, gave me the opportunity to learn so much about the history and culture of Kigali. I enjoyed visiting the different neighbourhoods, and the visit to the Belgian Peacekeepers memorial site was moving. If you're visiting Kigali, make the time to walk and talk with Jerry. You won't be disappointed.

Kigali highlights - We did the tour with Ange at Iriza and had a wonderful time, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She then helped organize a very last minute gorilla trekking tour for three of us and it was superb. Highly recommend.

Relaxed and Enjoyable - Jerry was a good guide. He was knowledgeable and patient. We were a small group and 2 people smoke mainly French. He took the time to explain things to them and then to me in English. He answered all questions about history and culture. It was relaxed and enjoyable. One disappointment for me is that the museum at the end of the itinerary was closed the day of my tour. It is worth checking the schedule if this is important to you.

Would be better on a weekday - I did this tour only 2 hours after landing from 2 days travel, so was not fully with it. Jerry did well to keep me engaged and was very proud of his city and country. However, the part of Kagali that was covered in a 2 hour walking tour was not particularly interesting and there was no vibrancy, this due to its being a Sunday when not much open so few people about. The tour did highlight the contrasts - we saw the medical university on one street and then walked through a typical neighborhood where it looked like life was tough. On a weekday it would probably be a much better tour.
