Lake Mutanda - Lake Mutanda is a small, freshwater lake located in the far southwest of Uganda, near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. It is drained by the Rutshuru River, which flows northward to Lake Edward.

Lake Mutanda is just a 30-minute drive from the center of Kisoro.

At an altitude of 1,800m, it is an excellent spot for hiking, offering spectacular views of The Virunga Mountains.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast in the morning, check in at the Park’s Headquarters for legal formalities before embarking on the trekking adventure. Bwindi is home to more than half of the world’s Mountain Gorilla population, with over 300 gorillas residing here.

Depending on your physical fitness, arrangements will be made for you to track Gorillas via a suitable hike. Once you encounter them, you will enjoy spending an hour or more with these endangered creatures, learning about their lifestyle.

Camp Kigali Memorial - The Camp Kigali memorial site was established by the Belgian government in April 2000 to commemorate the Belgian soldiers. Upon arrival at this site, you will find stone pillars representing each of the soldiers who served under the United Nations Mission Assistance for Rwanda.
