Beautiful Nature Experience - Highly recommend this tour. Rolo our guide was fantastic. He was helpful and passionate about the wildlife and park. The food prepared was delicious. Beds and huts were comfortable. Toilet was just uphill. Expect to be "roughing it" for 1 night, but completely worth it for the views and closeness to nature. Our favorite part of visiting Thailand

Khao So expedition with Rolo - This is the most amazing experience I ever had. In the middle of National Park, in unspoiled wild nature with amazing guide - Rolo. We watched the wildlife for hours, patiently, and all of the sudden - wild Elephant appeared. We watched it twice - in the evening and early in the morning. Rolo knows the habits of animals, talks about their life in the Park. The trip is very well organized, the meeting with the wild elephants in the natural environment is truly an unforgettable once in a life time experience. I recommend this tour to all sensitive people who want to discover the nature give it a respect and who are patient and keen to see the animals and untouched sacred jungle form the distance. The best is to watch the animals from the boat, to listed to this ancient forest and not even see the exact genre but just listen. The night watch is also amazing under the stars. You can catch a sens of raw nature. You sleep in a bamboo tiny house, on the water, unconnected with the internet, with only wild around.

Two-day trip into the wilderness - We did the tour in mid-December. The pick-up was great (7am), the driver was on time and there was a German tour guide (Rolo). As we hadn't had breakfast yet, we were kindly offered the opportunity to have breakfast in the "tree house". The trip to the huts on the longtail boat was very interesting, and we saw numerous animals on the way there. The accommodations are simple bamboo huts with mattresses and mosquito nets. Not luxury but certainly sufficient for one night. The actual tour: After lunch, we went on an exploration tour with our tour guide Rolo and our longtail boat driver Liam. We saw various species of monkeys, deer, various species of birds and elephant tracks. A short hike through the jungle following the elephants' tracks was also included. After that, we went back to the boat to keep looking for elephants and other animals. After dusk, we drove back to the bamboo huts, where we had dinner. The next morning we set off early (6am) to look for elephants. We saw a number of tracks on the shore again, but no elephants. Instead, we saw many other animal species, including a gaur, which is only seen very rarely. After the exploration tour, we returned to the huts at around 10 a.m. and were greeted with breakfast. After that, we had some time to swim in the lake or explore the jungle on our own by canoe. After lunch, we went back with the longtail boat and the van, which dropped us off at our hotel. In short, we can only recommend this trip to anyone who really wants to observe animals without being disturbed by the crowds of tourists. A big thank you also goes to Rolo, who is always up for a laugh - a really great guy. He also took pictures of the animals with a camera throughout the tour, which he then sent to us. 5 out of 5 stars!

Great experience and not commercial at all. - Our guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife there, and took some amazing photos of all the creatures we saw. That gave me the chance for me to focus fully. He sent the photos to us all at the end.

Gorgeous! - I loved this trip. Khao Sok is a wonder on this earth and I felt very privileged to experience it. Everything is taken care off, all transport from your hotel to the huts on the river and back. Be aware that you sit for hours on a longtail boat, it's not very comfortable after an hour and this is a third of you trip activities. The huts and toilet are very basic but clean and comfortable. I loved the hut on the river, I could've spent more time just there. The way to get from the hut to the toilet and common area is a little tricky but I'm very clumsy and if I can do it so does everyone 😛 The food was really good and the people are very kind. I saw monkeys, deer, birds and lizards. Just don't expect it and you need heaps of patience. The guide really did try to spot an elephant but no luck there. I think the only reason why this trip doesn't get a 5 star is because the guide got a little obsessed with finding an elephant and like I said before it gets very uncomfortable in the boat and it just took too long. He doesn't have a lot of knowledge about the area, or at least he didn't share it. His main language is German and we had a lot of German people in the group so I get that it is a natural reaction to speak German. He tried to speak English and include me, as did the rest of the Group. The guide could've given more information in general and always in English cause sometimes I didn't know what was said. But to end with a positive note. Do it!! It sooooo worth it! Enjoy!!

A memorable, information and fun packed jungle adventure - A fantastic trip full of fun, information and adventure! A great back to basics jungle experience with a very knowledgable and passionate tour guide. It’s a long journey there… especially with kids but with cave and swim stops along the way it was well worth the journey and lovely to see all the wildlife exactly where it should be… in the wild! Although patience was needed at times, waiting for the animals to show up, and it 100% took us all out of our comfort zone sleeping in the hot and noisy, pitch black jungle… I will definitely recommend it to everyone and we would love to return!

Not worth the money - Tour guide rolo spoke mostly german instead of english (while we booked an english tour), the tour does not include jungle trekking as they mention, it's just a 1.3 km slow walk on touristic constructed paths, guide can not give any information about the nature. We went on boat to see wildlife, but the guide needed to pee a lot so the boat trip had to be discontinued several times so he could pee. Guide smoked a lot, so instead of nature you smell cigarettes, disgusting. In summary, not worth the money at all. The biggest tourist was the guide himself. Not recommended!!!
