This afternoon-to-evening tour offers a comprehensive Khao Lak experience by combining ethical elephant observation, local culture, history, and food tasting. Starting with a hotel pickup at approximately 2:00 PM, participants will visit the Khao Lak Elephant Sanctuary to respectfully observe elephants and gain insights into their care, natural behaviors, and the principles of responsible tourism.

Participants will also discover how herbal supplements are prepared as part of the elephants’ daily care routine. The sanctuary visit focuses on observation and does not involve riding, shows, tricks, bathing, or any forced interaction.

The tour proceeds with a visit to a temple, Takua Pa Old Town, known for its Sino-Portuguese architecture, and the Nam Kem Cultural Centre, a locally managed museum that highlights the area’s community and history.

The evening concludes at Takua Pa Market, where local vendors offer fresh produce and street food. The tour includes five food tastings before returning to the hotel around 8:30 PM.
